The weird thing is the Germans legitimately think that they’re on the right side of history by arresting protestors, banning demonstrations, cancelling artists and supplying weapons to support a genocide.
I guess some things never change.
Yes, we are entirely homogenous over here and any decision ever made by our government represents 100% the popular opinion, similar to how it works in the states

And this increasing deterioration of public opinion is happening despite the fact that a responsibility for Israel is cemented into the german law and favorable opinions being actively promoted by the media and government.
