    Forget avocadoes. I’ve just learned you can ripen mangoes by leaving them by the window in the sunlight for a few days.

    You know those green sour crunchy kind they sell at the corner store? They ripen to a beautiful lush aromatic softness.

      Protip: you can evenly ripen avocados and most fruits in a brown paper bag. I like to throw in a nice ripe banana to jump-start the process (gives off ethylene.)

        I have never heard of this before and it sounds like bullshit, but I looked it up and it’s actually true. I’ll need to try this asap.
