Happy this community exists, but the illogical american date notation makes this feel like a usa only club.
That’s quite a pull from a date format. Is there deeper reasoning it feels that way to you?

05/31/2025 is a very american way of writing dates. the rest of the world typically sorts its dates from smallest to largest (day-month-year) or largest to smallest.
But I am an American (leaving the country doesn’t seem an option for us) and this was the rigid system I have been taught to use my entire life. It’s a part of my misguided culture.
