    Honestly, not sure if I find this wholesome so much as a little sad. But not sad in a tearful way, or in a “aw, poor thing” way. More… The way a rainy day can be sad? Or how nostalgia feels, even though they’re not being nostalgic? It feels very raw, regardless, maybe even a little invasive, like getting a short glimpse into a person’s soul, and a person who has not had an easy life, at that… I’m glad I read it though, so thanks for sharing

      Thank you for reading and the feedback. I wanted to strike a hopeful note that was also real. Knowing how much to share is always a balancing act for me, but I tend to err on the side of openness if it was a teaching moment for me. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, it helps!

        Ah, I didn’t realize it was your own post. Extra thanks for sharing then. I imagine it could be rather nerve-wracking.
