I spent ungodly amount of hours in this game as a kid.
Ever play through all of the first World using a DDR mat?? Because that’s the only way to know you’ve mastered the game! 😅
Never played the game but Spyro gives me the same feeling as Rayman in the context of whimsical dreamlike worlds.
Yeah like the other guy said, Reignited is great. I think this video does it a bit of a disservice. You can make any argument that the art direction loses something compared to the original, but even then it’s only losing a tiny amount, and all the gameplay and sound design are every bit as good.
I’d recommend picking up the remastered collection! The games are a ton of fun and hold up shockingly well
The first three are the best platformers on the PlayStation and better than most of the platformers on the n64.
