How did we see what the oom killer was killing before? Getting a notification is a great change because I had no idea how this was checked
At the very least you can see it in dmesg.
@kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social I just came back to my laptop and saw that the memory shortage thing had been triggered.
Really neat that it’s a thing and how (depending on the app) it gives tips on how to prevent it!
