Damn lots of upvotes on this! Love to see it.

Nah TOTK runs like garbage on the switch compared to it’s potential you can say it ‘doesnt matter’ but it’s a mess. I played for a couple hours on my actual switch but got so annoyed with the horrendous aliasising of shadows and jagged camera movement that I stopped and spent a couple days of free time setting up yuzu on my PC. The difference is NIGHT and DAY! You are just sitting in Nintendo’s cave watching shadows on the wall if you think it doesn’t matter. The difference is in fact enormous it just might not matter to you.
It’s a react component and that would be the proper way to give a numerical value in jsx
It reminds me of Charlie the Unicorn which has a similar cadence
Pretty sure WinSCP is the best SCP/FTP client on any platform.
Ah interesting one of those cases where this could be one of a few languages. I was reading it as JS.
Yea uh is this actually equivalent? In all of those other cases you’re checking if a is null and in the last case my understanding is it is checking to see if a is falsely. In the case that a is 0, or undefined, or an empty array or any other kind of non null falsey value, then the behavior would be different.
Yea you don’t need to have a family of 10 to make use of Costco. You and your roomies can definitely save some money by pooling and getting some stuff together at Costco. You just learn what you can actually use and what doesn’t make sense for your household and buy the stuff you need less of somewhere else. I highly recommend it; learning to shop at Costco has helped me and my partner eat better, cook more, and spend less money.
Yea this happened to me at Costco when I forwent the cart and ended up deciding my dog needed a new bed. And then I decided I was to proud to grab one on the way out. I am such an idiot most of the time.
Nah this isn’t the way, friend. Instead of adding a bunch of useless anys all over the place, start typing in one part of the application and exclude the rest using a path pattern. Or simply allow .js and only change the extension for files you’ve typed. Doing this is just wasting time and creating false assurances of type safety.
It’s not that hard to define correct, meaningful types. Often vscode already has implicitly determined them for you; just mouseover the variable.
I think social needs like fulfillment and happiness, pride that comes with seeing others succeed, the contentment that comes with deep love for others and receiving that in kind are all things we have evolved to share and receive and can be the end goal just as much as a means to an end. Sure, the evolutionary pressure that created that kind of social dependency may have been more practical and survival oriented in nature, however we are long past that at this point and I think it’s fair to say humans need those things directly in order to be healthy now. Exactly the reason why NASA can’t just send people up together without considering the social dynamics of that unit; even the most intelligent and motivated people will be unable to act in their own self interest without those social needs met properly.
