They’re fed propaganda to believe that privacy doesn’t matter….
But just imagine a Google admin had access to all the information about you and wanted to blackmail you into doing something…. The sheer power of that is terrifying.

Entirely escapism, most romantic movies involve felonies lol.
Stalking is the most popular, harassment, sexual harassment, assault, lack of consent.
…. But it’s all portrayed as romantic. You want to talk about rape culture? The romance films are peak “rape culture”
Twilight vampires secretly watching you sleep without your consent? Hawt! The guy refusing to take no for an answer? How devoted! The guy just grabbing you and kissing you out of nowhere? Swooooon! My ex inserting herself into my current relationship to wreck it and get back together with me? It MUST be true love. . I assure you, those things are unpleasant in real life, but I’m really curious as to how people think they’re romantic in movies. I don’t get it.
Could be another “ai is just cheap labor from India” scam.
But more importantly, at what cost here? I mean how much processing power and engineering time is required and at what cost….to try and detect bike thefts?
Wouldn’t it be cheaper just to buy them a new bike?
Sure, but do you really think he’s going to be able to run up a 30 ft wave?
No, He’s just trying to excuse his own emotional reaction.
Nice edit, this wasn’t the original message lol.
You were unnecessarily rude and you know it.
Yeah, being called out and unnecessarily put to task is unpleasant, isn’t it?
The irony is spectacular.
Have a nice day.
Until the waves are 100x the bubble lol
I ignored OP’s statements, not yours.
You’ll find I replied to you and not them, but I appreciate your condescension in the midst of being wrong.
Ranting about problem you had and being dramatic about it? No problem, I get it. I’m here to be supportive of your struggles. I’ll absolutely defend someone that is being dramatic over their own mistakes, we’re all our own biggest critics. Beyond that, I’ll ignore it and let them get through their own emotions.
Feeling the need to judge someone over it? Yeah, YTA here and you’ll find that coworkers don’t like you for it. It’s unpleasant, and unnecessary.
Do you enjoy it when people point out your faults and say “maybe the tech world isn’t for you?”
…… but you’re not going to see it that way at all. You’ll create some meaningless “but it’s different” argument because you feel the need to defend your actions rather than reflect on them.
Have a nice day, I’m done.
Oh I’m not encouraging it, personally I just ignore the rants like that….
But at the same time, I can identify the emotion that drew the person to do it.
Because developers are all logical and don’t EVER show anger at the systems they’re working on…. Hahahaha…
I mean I personally wouldn’t post about it, but I’d probably rant over lunch at my stupidity…
You’ve never made a silly mistake where you “can’t see the forest for the trees”?
It happens to the best of us
Not really, no.
But this thing could be beat with a raspberry pi.
Amazing, I didn’t know they did this
The insulation on an oven is 10x that of an air fryer.
…. And sometimes air fryers don’t turn off.
An oven is usually designed to last a decade, an air fryer sometimes only lasts a year.
VERY different build quality standards.
I love the concept but……
Air fryers and kitchen heating appliances shouldn’t be left on their own much….
Maybe an oven, but certainly not the countertop version, just for fire safety reasons …
Sure, but if I put myself in their shoes, what better options did they have?
Tineye was the first, I don’t know if it is still around
And to everyone’s disappointment, nothing will happen.
But they likely deserve to be broken up and sent to jail. Truly criminal the tactics that were used and knowing that they came from McKinsey…. Not surprised
John Oliver’s special on them is spectacular.
It’s buck from ice age, now all he needs is an eye patch.
