Sleep Planking ftw?
An Australian fella.
Sleep Planking ftw?
Looks like Windows only.
A redditor replied ‘abcde worked well for me last time I needed to rip a cd’ eight months ago.
Another replied
‘Thank you! I didn’t knew if you were joking about the name, but it’s a real package that stands for “A Better CD Encoder” 😂 I’ll be sure to check it out!!!’
Google says ‘Exact Audio Copy is proprietary freeware, free for non-commercial use. It is written for Microsoft Windows. It has also been tested to work under newer versions of Wine on Linux. EAC is used to convert the tracks on standard audio CDs to WAV files, which can then be transcoded into other formats.’
I guess you could skip every other gear or something?
Maybe so.
For those who don’t understand it, Windows 3.1 etc needed a third party program called Trumpet Winsock in order to connect to the internet.
Where’s my trumpet?
It’s been eight years. They’ve stopped trying. I can still see. Mostly.
Front left trouser, unless I’m on a long walk in which case shirt pocket for the radio.
Also using Gravity Screen so it can’t wake up and pocket dial etc.
A handy VHS tape that I spotted under the couch when lying on the floor after school.
Made a copy and put it back.
Still don’t know which parent did it.
Desktop PC with three usb dvb tuners hooked to the TV - takes the ads out of free to air and backs up laptop.
Toshiba i7 laptop about ten years old. Win10
Two Asus laptops with Debian which mainly just act as Rustdesk terminals to the Toshiba laptop.
Super slow old budget Toshiba laptop in the car - again just Rustdesk into the I7. OK battery.
Midrange Motorola g84 for phone and hotspot.
4 - So you’re 15 years old and deaf now. WHY SO LOUD YOOOWW YOOOOWW.
I did that already. Can’t read German and the apps don’t translate yet.
Thought it was going to be a hand job.
I read about exploding birds this morning. Now it’s cats too?

I think Rustdesk for me as well. My main computer is a Windows laptop, but I use a few Linux laptops around the house to control it and others with Rustdesk. Alt+Tab works on the remote system in Gnome Classic (I think that’s what it’s called - says X11) but on the other options it performs switches locally only. Tested on Debian and Fedora.
I use Total Launcher, and don’t have an “app dock”.
Too many pancakes? :)
Maybe it’s worth keeping a budget mobile phone at home with Rustdesk host running on it? When you have a need for an app that must run on a genuine Android, you just remote into that phone. Since the phone never leaves home, there’s less to track.
Sorry you got downvoted to hell. Hive mind seems to do that if you ask anything slightly off colour. I for one appreciated your post.
But what about Alf?
