  • It’s not even a nostalgia thing; it’s a “me and my friends are hungry and the option is 4 pizzas from Little Caesars or 1 pizza from local place”. No one is trying to impress anyone, we’re all friends, we want to hang out for as long as possible. No one is bringing gourmet pizza to the creek to hang out, no one is bringing heirloom tomatoes and organic arugula and garlic infused olive oil pizza to a college football tailgate for $35/pizza. We’re getting shitty pizza from Domino’s, shitty lite beers, and we’re gonna freeze half to death playing cornhole in a parking lot and have a good time doing it lol

  • Brother I’m not saying I enjoy Papa John’s more. I’m saying I’m not bringing finely aged wine to drink in the garage while I listen to Creed. This is the guy that brings 4 of the most disgustingly conceived IPAs to a party, drinks one of them, and then wants Coors Lite from the cooler on someone else’s dime. Dude bringing a 4" personal pan pizza from Napolitano Italiano and wants to split it across 5 friends, only $15/ea for the pizza, and you get 2 bites of it. Dude wants the most memorable part of the night to be a slice of pizza and not hanging out with his friends.

This gotta be the dumbest bait ever. “You don’t eat expensive enough pizza”, what am I even doing with my time anymore lol. Waited a month to respond and comes back just to annoy me lmao. Lemme know what stupid little JRPG you’re playing so you can tell me why I’m enjoying bad video games too.

  • I mean, I guess it depends. I row often, and I don’t wanna do it in a gym, so I purchased a rower. But if I didn’t want to spend the ~$800 on a nice Concept 2 rower, a gym membership for $20/mo would give me about about 3.25 years of rowing before I hit the cost of the rower. Then I also get access to every other machine they offer, free weights, other amenities such as pool and basketball court, classes they offer, trainer access (probably not great but better than winging it). That may be valuable to you or it may not, but it’s an option. You could run on a treadmill or lift weights at home, if you purchased the items. Sure, running outside is free and you can pick up/put down stuff whenever, but weather gets in the way, and unbalanced or unwieldy weight isn’t always safe.

Home workouts can be effective and many make it work, but some people like/need the separation. Sometimes when I get home, if I sit down, I’m just not gonna get up and workout at that point. Stopping at a gym in the way home gives a clear delineation between still working physically and being done with your days work when you get home. Or if they go in the morning, I can’t row at odd hours I may want to because of neighbors (it’s not quiet). I can go to some gyms at 5am or 2am if I really wanted to, where I couldn’t currently at home.

  • It helps that it’s trending towards being a pre-built PC more and more, and I do think that will help in some regard. If the PC and Xbox versions are able to be the same, then dev costs go down, and you get a pretty solid idea of what a good lower-to-mid tier spec PC can do and optimize for that. It also would hopefully mean that more and more catalog becomes playable on PC, but who knows how far back that would go. Maybe Microsoft would make an emulator that you log-in to for access to 360-onward games? May be extreme wishful thinking there tho lol

  • I type with my keyboard in my lap; for whatever reason, I’m not usually doing mouse and KB at the same time. I used numpad cause I worked retail through college, and if I’m hitting anymore than 5 numbers, I’m using numpad. But I also don’t care about the esthetics while at work. Same with my desk at home, tho it is set up more to my preference. I just don’t care about the KB being centered with the mouse. I think I like the unbalanced look better, it gives each piece it’s own weight.

That, and the damn keyboards cost $140 anymore. If. the paying that much, I want the option of a numpad lol. Plus I think they look dumb without the extra keys, if that makes sense?

  • YUNZII Typewriter Keyboard
Outemu Silent Peach Switches v2 (v3 is available, idk the difference)
Keycaps I got are sold out, but it’s just generic ones with no branding or design, just black and tan.

Yunzii is a brand I’ve seen in other sites outside Temu, so I was decently confident in it being alright. I wanted quiet switches because I work in an office (obviously lol) and I didn’t want to make extra noise. These are very quiet switches, barely louder than the AC air blowing. Keyboard itself is decent enough for just a cheap chassis, but I also like the 108 keyboards and not the small ones (daddy needs his numpad).
