Oh yes, improve security by mandating that everyone uses higher level languages that encourage importing libraries.
I hate to pull the AI card, but AI has a better chance of catching low level language type issues than forcing people to use tools they didn’t want to has of accomplishing anything positive.
What kind of monster did this guy marry, that this is even a question?
Netflix, steam, and Spotify got me out of piracy. Companies who owned the IP just decided they all wanted to replicate what Netflix did without understanding that it was impossible for more than one company to accomplish that.
Like… Kernel written in scratch?
Directed or viper smart-start… Same thing but $60 a year, and can be retrofitted into some really old cars.
Problem is with the increasingly non-standardized designs, it’s just not realistic to build a module for every car that’s out there.
Nobody’s built a supercomputer powerful enough to run a python version of even Linux Lite Edition.
Funny thing that, European countries haven’t lasted nearly as long as the US on average: revolutions, conquest, coups. Only a couple of monarchies and even those had some big changes in the way the government is structured like with constitutional changes. The US, though, has a ton of new laws but is fundamentally unchanged.
More memory means you can do real work with it, and enterprise AI training is a money printer that they’d be scavenging the shit out of with cards that are closer substitutes.
But then you can do work with it, and that’s where the real money is at.
They should all be shipping with 32GB now… AMD is at least seeing the light by releasing some 24gb cards under $1k
Really hope Intel’s next generation of GPU silicon makes it a more realistic substitute - that would actually spice things up a lot, you basically won’t see real competition again until nVidia’s AI training dominance is in someone’s crosshairs
There is no greater show of dominance than penetrating another man’s rectum. All true alphas know this. Betas fear they’ll like it.
Sort of, my point is really that there are new kinds of work that were not really conceivable at the time, most of which has no direct influence on whether you’re fed, clothed, housed, and healthy. (Indirectly is another matter, North Korean’s wisest minds centrally decide what really matters and look where that gets them… Not a 3 day work week)
Just open a few more Chrome tabs: a couple of Ali Express and Amazon pages and a few YouTube videos and couple Reddit posts, and you’ll be wondering why you only got 32.
The Ancient Greeks weren’t actively trying to turn the strawberries in your fridge into a SaaS subscription.
If fusion 360, solid works, OR solid Edge ran on Linux I’d deal with the annoyances.
