The good news is that if you live in America, living part 80 is a terrible experience that nobody would want to do anyways.

No harm in trying again.
I saw a screenshot of someone getting a refund with 90 something hours. Worth a try and see if they give it to you. Better then being stuck with a purchase you can’t/won’t use.
The standard rules are no refunds for games played more than 2 hrs. The first time you ask for a refund it’s handled by an automated system. Ask for a refund again, and an actual staff member will review. So just try again.
“A test of your reflexes!”
Gotta slap the knee and say “well, I spose…”
I mean, it’s true they have a lot of games that use predatory systems designed to trick you into spending more money than you need to. As well as games that are designed purely on capitalizing on base feeling of satisfaction of big number go up. But I feel like this is akin to suing casinos for their games having odds in their favor.
How much of it is on the company, and how much on the player? Like where is the line? If a game is designed to be solely addictive with no other value or purpose, probably should not be acceptable, but how do you make that determination as a games value is different for every individual.
Almost impossible to make a blanket judgement on this, and any legal precedent set by this lawsuit will be troublesome no matter which outcome.
It works on Drow rules. It’s ok if everyone knows you did it, but only if it can’t be proven with hard evidence. But if you get caught or it can be proven, you get cast out… Unless you have money enough to not.
I think we’re all confused by the question.
Pretty similar to what’s going on with Twitter right now.
Let’s be fair here. While that is the point of the Scott and Ramona story, the movie didn’t really put a lot of effort into portraying that. The comics went a little more deeply into that dynamic and fleshing out the relationship, it was still pretty much the background against the character personality showcasing, and over the top dramatic fights. The movie really did nail the vibe and the characters but the whole “I think I learned something” and the end of the movie really downplays the “lesson” of the whole plot. So much so that I don’t think Scott himself even fully understood the actual lesson he just learned. Just that what he was doing was wrong, and needed to change, but not why and what exactly it was he needed to change.
Great movie for sure, even better comic series, but a deep complex plot it isn’t.
In the end, nothing. I had a good solid 9 months of a job I loved, with decent enough pay. But then tanks to corporate execs laid off the entire IT team and outsourced it to a staffing company and reduced the size of the team from 100+ to about 8.
I’m still there because I still need the pay, but now it’s just like every other garbage corporate job out there. Miserable and soul sucking.
You’ve missed the point. There’s no expected commitment, they are both of the same mind. They both feel like it would be ok if it doesn’t last. It’s because they share the same feelings that they continue to work well together, and the relationship lasts.
This is basically how me and my girlfriend’s relationship started off. No pressure, if it’s not working we’ll call it off and go back to being just friends.
We’ve been together for 15 some odd years, and we have 2 kids.
Ah it was easy enough to get the iron key unlocked during post, as those HP servers take forever to boot, problem was the bios couldn’t recognize the USB. Whatever firmware is on it that does the security confused the system, and while it saw the drive, it didn’t know what it was and wouldn’t boot from it. In both uefi mode, and in legacy bios mode
One thing I can tell you, it’s that you can’t use them as bootable drives to install an OS from. And if you try to pass the USB connection from an ESXi host to a VM on it, it won’t work.
Aside from that, they’re really annoying to work with.
1st fork on the left - I have 1
4th fork from the left - I have 1, this is my favorite fork
Middle fork- I have a handful
2nd to last fork on the right - I have a handful, decent forks.
Not pictured - that piece of garbage that I have no idea where it came from, that’s somehow simultaneously too small to fit in with the other big forks, and too big to fit in with the small forks. And to top it off, its shape makes it terrible at twirling spaghetti. I seriously don’t know why I still have that piece of junk.
Stuck huh? So FFXVI doesnt count?
The last 20 years spent on FFXIV doesn’t count?
Dragon Quest, doesn’t count?
SaGa Emerald Beyond doesn’t count?
Foamstars… Well arguable if it counts.
Point is, they are not stuck. It is far from the only thing they are making. They just have created an amazing world with FFVII with great lore, great characters, and an amazing story. Multiple games taking place in that world is not that crazy of an idea, nor is it uncommon in the RPG genre. Some of the games sucked, the remakes are awesome. It’s grown beyond a single game at this point, it’s a series. Making more games in a series, does not make a company stuck, especially when they are still release games in other series.
Which is exactly why I can’t learn foreign languages. No amount of brute force will make my vocab any better. I can’t remember shit. If I could, this comment would be much more witty and funny.
People in real life are both. For every wholesome opinion, there exists at least 1 oposing opinion, and probably another one that says you should feel like shit for even thinking of that opinion.
Parents who have experience in both airport security, and trying to get kids to do literally anything.
