Yeah I think he was a monk.
Right? Like what if as cells die or degrade instead of being replaced by the body naturally they are replaced by nanites/cybernetics/tech magic. If the process of fully converting took place over the course of 10 years, then I don’t see how the subject would even notice.
It’s an interesting thing to ponder.
Right? I read your comment and was like…psh can’t be that strange, so I went into this prepared to read a few articles.
Read about a dude who lived his whole life and died without ever seeing a woman. He was in his 80’s! That’s wild.
Sorry for my ignorance, but what specific event are they referencing?
What are some good other options? I haven’t kept up with the advances with this stuff in a few years.
That’s a brilliant way to answer.
I really enjoyed using MATLAB in school and it really helped with some of my graduate stuff. What scummy stuff are they up to? Any alternatives you’d recommend?
I switched my gaming PC to Linux two months ago and I’m loving it. I’ve only had to boot my Windows drive twice.
Idk sounds to me like you are the change we need. You’re investing your energy into the future without asking for selfish repayment. You’re good people. From my perspective you are still keeping that hope of a better future alive and burning, nurturing it in the hearts and minds of the young, allowing it to grow strong in a protected environment. You are EXACTLY what the world needs right now. So thank you Internet friend.
Yeah I’m sure an AI that advanced could figure out a way for us to not even notice everything is devoted to its own goals. I mean, all it needs to do is make sure the proper people make enough money.
They are not talking about going to school but having people at the school do the dental work.
I switched to Mint this month and have only run into issues with anti-cheat. I’ve tried about 8 different games. Halo Infinite had some odd textures the first time I ran it, but not since.
All in all I’m very happy with my OS switch.
My positive experience with my Steam Deck got me to take the plunge and now I’m happily gaming on Mint.
It sucks that it took all that for her to understand, but it shows great character that she came around to understand things from your perspective.
Yeah, I don’t think “mentally ill people” only exist in specific places or that specific areas are “full” of them. I mean, I know for sure at least one deranged person lives in your area.
Also I highly doubt you truly worked in retail if you never experienced a customer like this. If you did, you must have been lucky and in an extremely high end store.
People are the same everywhere in the world, no better or worse than anywhere else. Which is kinda great IMO.
I don’t message anyone with an iPhone. Other than the different colored bubbles what does it do? How is the quality degraded?
It just seems like Apple kept it separate so their obsessed fans would have something to feel superior about.
We pay plenty in taxes to cover healthcare already. It’s just wasted on a bloated military budget. That and lobbyists prevent any changes that would negatively impact the healthcare industry’s bottom line.
ADHD is a real biological disorder, that is a medical fact. Meds are just another tool to help address the issue. I’m not going to explain or argue about biology.
Can people’s personalities contribute to their problems? Yes absolutely, nobody is arguing that. You’re not wrong about the usefulness of therapy , but that’s a pretty dismissive and rude way to go about it. Nobody here is saying therapy isn’t helpful.
It seems like you just want to pick an imaginary fight with people who are just looking to find a path to improving themselves.
What’s that from?
