The WD TV Media Player was pure garbage.
Also hated the Macbook Pro with the Butterfly Keyboard.
And probably a lot of smaller tech that I forgot about.

What’s even more outrageous is the amount of one-time-use battery vapes that are being sold and are obviously not recycled properly but end up in nature or, at best, in landfills. I don’t get how this is still allowed…
In Germany we have this stupid tradition with Maibäume (Maypole) were young people carry a tree around and place it in front of the house of their beloved ones. The bigger the tree the better.
My mom couldn’t handle that. I also think there is still enough cool things to experience even though the world is going to shit right now.
I wish Toonstruck would get its remaster and sequel.
I’m all digital. Don’t have to worry about where my notebook is, my tasks and calendar are available through my phone, tablet, computer. And I get reminded on time sensitive things. I can make templates for repeating tasks like my vacation checklist. I’m reminded on birthdays that are coming up so I have time for presents. I never feel like I’m forgetting anything. It’s perfect for how my brain works.

You’re probably joking, but in case you’re not: Electric cars must make an artificial sound on low speeds in Europe to alert people. The motor is too quiet on its own.
I always think I stand out but I probably don’t.
Have you tried barefoot shoes?
Don’t Look Up. It felt like a movie made by a Redditor who thinks he’s really smart.
Spring is the worst. The weather is all over the place! One day you wear winter outfit and next day it’s tshirt and shorts but have an umbrella ready. Or a helmet for when it hails tennis balls.

I was with a friend at a pub that had karaoke night. He’s the extroverted kind and got us into a group of girls. I sat there for a bit and sang quietly with the music, never thought much of my voice or myself for that matter. The girl next to me listened and told me „Holy shit you sing great!“. She got me to go on stage and it was so much fun! People loved it. We talked a while afterwards. She was clearly into me. It didn’t work out because she still had a boyfriend but damn did it lift my self esteem! And I got singing lessons for a year.
I had a different direction in mind actually. My experience is that if I work fast (or rather faster than the slow colleagues) while delivering good work, I just get more work from my boss because I have time. If I slow down so everyone is at the same pace, I have less work in the end. This is why I think a fixed 40 hour work week is shit. Let me go if I’m done with my tasks.
To be precise: Fast work leads to more work.
Because financial issues only keep the plot from moving forward.
