Pfft, our moon is bigger. You’re just a big ass comet that can’t even do that right to get a tail.

I think the point of the phrase is to generate outrage to push against it
I sort of like the misspellings, feels like more like a creative choice than a failure of the technology
Good old Sony Mavicas 🥲
Oh, and you forgot the next steps if you wanted it on your computer: Find some one with a scanner and copy it to a floppy disk or wait 10-20 minutes to email it.
Digital cameras were a revelation! They removed those stepsSHIT I FORGOT THE DAMN PROPRIETARY DATA TRANSFER CABLE!
My parents would call people they knew depending on the city they were driving through because it wouldn’t be long distance (oh yeah here’s one, the scumbag phone companies would charge you more when you weren’t calling a local number, meaning within the same county/parrish/borough, usually by the minute). They even did this once they had mobile phones! Imagine nowadays contacting someone because you’re going through their city. It’s like, “Hey, I like you, but not enough to see if we can meet up for a little visit just to say hi all because the phone call is cheaper.”
Jesus, 10Gbps!? I’m paying $90 for “gigaspeed” AT&T fiber. But, I’m luckier than most, I have AT&T fiber and Metronet as fiber providers, as well as Spectrum and T-Mobile (but yuck to using 5G as my primary source of internet).
I wonder how many years will need to pass before people see this meme and wonder why ski resorts are selling burgers and fries so cheaply…
“They ruined Linux!”
Exactly, also, maybe those people who consume unhealthy foods with these emulsifiers don’t live healthy lifestyles to begin with?
Sadly, it’s most likely Barnes & Noble Education since most universities have outsourced their bookstores to them. At least my university now offers free textbooks to students but Barnes & Noble Education runs the logistics of it.
I have a story, so I get wanting great video quality and why people get remuxes, but I have a friend who is borderline legally blind. His vision is so poor that he has to wear contacts and glasses at the same time. He has to get the remux version of things and complains about minor encoding artificacts from versions of things with smaller file sizes that I feel wouldn’t bother 99.9% of the population. Hell years ago, before he got an updated prescription, he was driving and he mentioned how bad his vision was getting and I asked him if he could read the license plate for the car stopped in front of us and he laughed and said no. Anyway, I feel like the extra quality is wasted on him. He’s like an audiophile who is hard of hearing. I just find this funny and wanted to share.
Wow, sounds like the opposite intended effect! For me, it seems to work as intended.
Despite the text errors, this is pretty funny
There’s also the bow shock you experience as your habits change. When I started, I still had the bad habit of overeating, but Ozempic won’t allow it. I eventually learned to eat less or regret it. How long have you been on it and how much have you lost so far?
It was slow for me. I was on .25mg/week of Ozempic at the start and now am on 1mg/week. It is the right amount for me. I’ve been losing 8-10lbs each month and doing nothing else but eat less. If I were to incorporate more exercise, I could lose it at a higher rate.
For me, it makes me constipated due to the way it slows down my digestion. The metformin keeps things moving though…
I’m down 65 lbs! Ozempic/semaglutide has muzzled my out of control eating. I’ve been on different weight loss meds and none have targeted the cause: bored eating when I’m not hungry. I still eat pretty much whatever I want, but I can’t handle any overeating. I made it through the holidays and didn’t gain any weight! I enjoyed the holiday goodies and was good to have a small amount. Going back for seconds sort of disgusts me. Went to the doctor today and my A1C is 5.8! It’s not been that low in 15 years!
Ut! Aurelia Borealis?
