Unfortunately you saying that still has the same credibility as your first statement. It’s just your word. I don’t doubt they do on occasion but to say ALWAYS refer to themselves that way is a lot to take on word alone.

I get that, in my experience it was just weeding through the bad ones. I had my fair share of un matches/ghosts/a holes.
I also hated taking pictures of myself and had a mediocre at best bio. What worked for me was not getting emotionally invested in the apps/matches.
The matches that i got and went out on a date or two with i was very up front that i was still using the app. It wasn’t until our 4th date that my partner and i deleted our apps.
Anywho, just wanted to share some hopefully positive advice. You will find the right one for you! Just have fun with it and try not to take it seriously
If I’m in between jars i put the tin foil in a bowl and do the same but after pouring put the bowl on the counter so family doesn’t accidentally toss a dish in there.
I didn’t say automated bands based on reports. Yeah those lead to harassment and abuse. Obviously not a good case for automation.
But injecting code into the game with a 3rd party client could be automated if detected. That’s what i meant by automated bans.
What was said wasn’t an insult. “Your momma…” are jokes, “you suck do bad…” are insults. Tbagging a dead body is an insult.
Implying you are going to rape someone and then saying it’s not rape because you would enjoy it isn’t a typical “insult”.
So yeah i read what they said. It just didn’t really apply to the situation.
I 100% agree with enough mutes/blocks leading to a manual thing.
Automated bans are not great but they have a time and place. Theoretically they are getting better.
My point is something should be done about these things. I don’t have the answers, but something needs to be done.
Her saying she isn’t going to mute him doesn’t give him the go ahead to say the things he did.
Could this be a publicity stunt? Sure. Does any of this make what he said ok? No
Did you even listen to what was said? Insults are one thing but alluding to rape and then saying it’s not rape if the rapist enjoys it. Is on a whole different level of depravity.
The problem is you know you have to mute them/ block them after they say/ do something bad to you. When you block them it may stop them from doing that to you but it doesn’t stop them from doing it to others on the game. Making it a bad experience for others.
Mute/personal blocks do not fix the root problem which is the toxic players being toxic in the game.
In my career i have gone from Systems Engineer to professional services to Profesional services team lead to Senior Systems administrator to now just Systems administrator. All doing basically the same IT stuff at progressively higher levels other than the team lead part.
When i was looking for my last job i applied for a remote admin job and experienced exactly what you described. I was on the third interview and was asked when i was going to move to the area and if i wanted a relocation allowance as part of the offer. Uhh what? To them a remote admin was an administrator that went to remote sites. What a waste of my time
Windows server license and CALs… don’t forget that extra little cost just because from MS
I’ve listened to thousands of hours of audio books and this is my go to player for sure. I tried a couple other ones again recently and ended up coming back to this one. Simple and easy to use. It does have a problem moving books occasionally if they are in the root directory and not a sub folder. I just make sure my books are in sub folders when i get them.
While funny to meme about not really true. IT is made up of all sorts of people. Furries, trans, lgtbq+, tired oarny old men and everything in-between.
I’m the same, i like the way my truck looks. Is it great these days? Nope it’s an old 08 with a little rust, ok a lot but hush, i love it anyway. Do i need a truck 97% of the time? Nope but that 3% of the time i do its amazing. And those people i pull out of random ditches in the winter will appreciate it I’m sure.
It’s less bs than you think, still unlikely sure, but not a non zero chance.
For awhile their was a single point of failure in telcom for the midwest in the us. Because the core router was so old and didn’t play well with failover. It took them several months and a lot of intermittent issues to get it replaced and working as expected.
