I’ve had a few of my “check out lemmy.ca” posts deleted there and frankly I don’t see how it breaks reddit TOS. They’re just bitter.

I’ve been posting lemmy on reddit, and have gotten a few bans for my trouble.
I welcome the bans.
That’s one of the greatest thing Valve is doing. They’re breathing life into Linux gaming.
Interesting link, thank you!
~2 days without food, for most people, I assume
Internet is going to be internet, but this place is like 10% as adversarial as reddit from my experience so far. I haven’t even had anybody DM me to end myself yet. At reddit I got those for saying my favorite game was Total Annihilation.
Hey thanks, I do lean a little hard on the self deprecating humor sometimes.
Reddit has been getting worse for years, and the comments there are so adversarial and insincere.
Users definitely can get sick of bad sites, what happened with X shows that. Their user base is a small fraction of what it was a few years ago.
I’m definitely liking it here though!
More like I have no personality and just go with the flow 😜
In 2010 I was part of the Great Digg Exodus, and now in 2025 I’m part of the Reddit->Lemmy migration. Truly I’m part of the crowd.
Annexation of Tibet (1950-1951)
Invasion of Paracel Islands (1974)
Southern Mongolia Annexation (1947-1949)
Senkaku/Diaoyu Islands Dispute: China claims the Senkaku Islands (Diaoyu Islands), which are currently controlled by Japan but also claimed by Taiwan.
PROC claims Taiwan as a province, but Taiwan operates as a de facto independent country.
South China Sea (Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia), PROC claims nearly the entire South China Sea under its “Nine-Dash Line”, leading to conflicts with Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia, and others.
India - China claims Arunachal Pradesh as “South Tibet.”
But it’s important to point out that “China” isn’t a country, rather a region. The country people generally refer to when they say “China” is the PROC. If you go back 1000 years there was no “China” country, there was the Ming Empire in the China region. I understand this perspective bothers people, but consider this, if you need to reduce countries to regions then you’re going to be bothered for the rest of your life.
