All of the orcas, but they gotta fight on land…
You can decimate an opposing army an infinite number of times and never defeat them. 🤷
Shamefully when I’m alone, but with jubilation when I’m in front of my kids, I will always bop to Gangnam Style
Although there were a lot of problems with Ender’s Game, I was a little surprised that they didn’t adapt any of the sequels. I mean I wouldn’t have watched them, but it seemed like they went pretty all in on that first one to not at least try the second with a significantly reduced budget.
I went to a gamestop a few months ago to see if they had any games for my Gameboy Advance. The dude at the register said I might have better luck at the “retro game” store in the next town over. I nearly spit out my Crystal Pepsi at him.
No one is lonely in cell block 8 🧖♂️🧼
I have a guncon3 somewhere around. It works with a pair of sensors placed on top of the TV, like in the PS Eye and XBox Move era. No CRT was required for that.
The length of the cable between the sensors was made for something like a 40" screen though, so if you play on a larger screen they sit a bit toward the center instead of in the corners where they are supposed to be.
Apple rankings is unironically a gem of the internet
Thank you Furry community! I did not expect to be thanking you, and feel pretty weird about it, but thank you.
I meant “maybe” in the context of it seeming like a significant gamble to attempt the rescue. It certainly doesn’t always work out for the potential rescuers. https://slate.com/technology/2013/05/rescuers-turning-into-victims-lessons-from-first-responders-on-saving-people.html
So my hedging with the word “maybe” is because I certainly don’t have the expertise to know the risks with attempting the rescue, but then again “maybe” any potential rescuers shouldn’t have asked for permission.
I worked on pipelines for part of my career in maintenance planning, not in construction. I’ve been trying to guess at how a rescue operation could have been attempted in this case. I’m not aware of any mechanism for cutting into the pipe at the depth the divers were stuck that wouldn’t immediately result in flooding the pipe, or risk cutting through the divers. The only rescue option that I could guess at is divers going in from the end of the pipe, swimming down through the length of it, and somehow pulling the trapped divers out.
Maybe the owner/state should have let rescuers give it a try, but that rescue option sounds terrifying as hell.

No way, Hunger Games stole their premise from some random YA book series. /s
That used to bother me a bit too, but then i figured if he’s strong enough to do a sweet one arm pull-up while carrying Tifa in the other to pull them back into the Highwind when she nearly falls out, then he’s probably strong enough to dolphin kick holding himself halfway out of the water looking completely motionless.
I intended to respond to your comment, but certainly may have misunderstood the comment as well. What I meant was only that I thought Foggy was suggesting the potential racist sounding version of “snickering” that replaces the ck with gg, rather than suggesting that sremoveding sounds potentially racist.
I wasn’t familiar with the word sremoveding before, but find the etymology fascinating and appreciate getting to learn about it.
I believe the commenter is referring to a spelling of “snickering” that replaces the ‘ck’ with ‘gg’. I don’t have any sources to cite, but vaguely recall seeing this spelling years ago.
In Sing 2, Bono’s character that I can’t remember the name of is wearing what looks very much like a leather jacket.
