Not words I would have picked for the category. Obviously.
It didn’t last one afternoon on my work laptop. I went to save an attachment from a vendor and couldn’t pick the folder it saved to. They literally got rid of SAVE AS.
Fuck Microsoft.
Even with nostalgia glasses on I had a hard time enjoying the really old ones. That said, I think there’s a lot of charm in sq4 and kq5 5/6.
Another old fart here. Some of my first gaming memories are Kings Quest 1 and Space Quest 1. I remember having to go all my parents how to spell certain words to do what I needed to do.
I played both of those originals but then missed out on the sequels until they went vga - sq4 and kq5. Of course as an adult I bought all the collections so I could finally see what I missed in 2-4.
All that to say, thanks for posting this. I’ll always watch another documentary on Sierra.
I gotta disagree. This looks amazing. The ability to free roam this world is huge on its own. From the previews I’ve read there are tweaks to the world and new puzzles sprinkled in. This looks like a great way to introduce a new generation to Riven without tarnishing the original.
Plus the originals are indeed still available to enjoy if that’s your thing.
I used a Microsoft Sidewinder 3d Pro for this and other flight sim games. The throttle, plus twisting joystick, and extra buttons on the base gave you just about everything you needed.

I wanted to love this game so much back in the day but sadly it seemed to have a lot of bugs. Are there any fan patches to make it playable on modern systems?
Thanks for posting this and making me reread the headline. I did the exact same thing.
I’m guessing because onyx doesn’t have a book store to subsidize the price with like Amazon.
I get my eggs from my E guy. He handles all my eggplant needs too.
I wouldn’t say 5 pieces of dlc totalling $20 is a lot. Not these days at least. Looks like they’re things you’d normally get in the “deluxe edition” of games past.
Wouldn’t tempt me to open my wallet but it’s not as grotesque as a lot of dlc these days.
Dude, as you probably know, this last weekend was daylight savings time. However, I think you’ve forgotten that it is also a leap year which means you have to set your calendar forward 73 years.
Don’t worry, it happens to us all and besides we get those years back in November.
There was also the X-Men Origins: Wolverine game on PS3. That’s probably the last tie in game I played.
We should have named it u-two or to be more shape accurate, v-2.
Holy shit. I’ve always seen this thing pretty low res, never looked closely, and thought that was billy eichner doing a bit from his on the street show or something!
Technically, the Nalgene in the picture is the revised Tritan BPA-free design. But your point still stands. BPA or not, the less plastic touches my food and drink, the better.
Congrats on the new Subaru. I also happily paid for the app using the introduction 3 year plan. Hit me up when you hit year 4 and see the REAL price tag they charge.
I had a much easier time today. It would have been even better if I didn’t misspell the long word.
