  • That’s pretty much the idea behind the scrum events, they should reduce the need for other meetings. As a note the weekly stand-up and 1:1 that show up in the picture are not scrum events.

Thing is, the scrum guide is pretty clear that if you don’t follow the whole thing, you shouldn’t call it scrum and you’re on your own. It can still work, but only if the mindset is right and people involved know what they are trying to do with it. Which most times is not the case.

  • Most people in corporate have no fucking idea what they are doing and a good setup will have these meetings focus everyone on the same thing and making sure they are progressing. This setup may not be useful for coding untestable and undocumented code in your basement, but it’s very useful in big companies. Unfortunately there are also many twats that abuse this in order to make themselves look useful so it’s very easy to end up in a broken system if no one is keeping an eye out for this.

  • Support for HDR, variable refresh rate, direct draw and battery improvements sound like a very good list to have, other than the overall leaner build. You personally not caring about it doesn’t change the fact that it’s good to not stagnate when it comes to things like this.

  • that most real, non childish adults don’t care for?

You are simply making things up. The reboot sold incredibly well, about 5 times more than the originals in fact, and received universal acclaim. People have grown up with the character and were happy to see that evolution. The original creator and you have become out of touch with the reality of this franchise.

Your expectation for things to never evolve and grow says more about you than you seem to want to face. But the same as you think that there are plenty of games that fill the void of deep narrative action games, I can say there are plenty of basic hack and slash games to go around, just go enjoy another one.

Farming milk involves forcefully insemination cows to get pregnant so they produce milk in the first place. Often times in factory farming, their calves are taken away for “repurposing”. Combine that with the typical living conditions for the average milk cow and it wouldn’t be hard to imagine why people that have any idea of how the industry functions would be thrown off by this.

Imagine human women being treated like this for the milk they produce so that you get to enjoy a cheap pleasure.
