I understand the concern and certainly believe that troll farms are slowly creeping into Lemmy as it gains traction. However, I think most of US bashing is authentic as it reflects the enormous impact of US political life on the rest of the planet. Moreover, other countries receive a constant flux of information about the US, to the point where it seems that US news is as important as domestic news. The fact that Trump remains omnipresent in the media doesn’t help either.
Yes. If you go back in time, you end up where the Earth used to be at that moment, I.e. thousands, hundreds of thousands, millions, hudreds of millions kms away. Arguably, if you go back a full galactic year you can end up somewhat in the vincinity of the solar system.

Apparently pretty offensive. Bad drivers who insist in abusing their honk and endangering pedestrians seem to get pretty intense whenever I flip a finger at them. I might get punched for real one of those days. Only thing that saved my ass for now is the fact that they can’t really leave their car in the middle of the street to come assaulting me, with other excited assholes driving behind them… My luck should run short one of these days though. #fuckcars
