Those upgrades clearly weren’t up to snuff. The game may have ended up profitable but it certainly wasn’t the next Skyrim from community feedback. They dumped a ton of money into it but it won’t have the money printing longevity of Skyrim

Problem with starfield is the content was small and sprinkled into an ocean of game. MAYBE with a smaller world to build in they’ll be ok, though I agree, low hope here

That’s true and I agree to an extent… they really need to build a new engine for whatever release is next, starfield proved that the current one won’t cut it. People are tired of these tiny cities and copy/paste dungeons everywhere.

The next big Bethesda title should coincide with the new engine launch if Todd has his witts still. It also shouldn’t be 2030 before we see that new engine…

Yea mine isn’t plug in either, still get mid 40s mpg though which is great. 600 miles on a tank is fantastic for an suv. I might’ve gotten plug in but the dealers didn’t want to or couldn’t answer any questions on them and really fet like they didn’t want to show/sell them

Mines a 2021 escape, as soon as it’s put into reverse it has external beeps like a box truck to warn people since it’s in electric propulsion and makes almost no noise.

Walmart is also a family owned business, that term means nothing in regards to company size and org structure. In another comment OP says there are several leadership tiers including managers, directors, and VPs, those org charts don’t exist in mom&pop health clinics. If OP is a one man IT department then this company is grossly mismanaged and is being negligent with their data by hiring a singular kid straight of college to be their IT department, if he’s one of many like they should be then OP is just a new-hire that needs to pump the brakes and learn to follow direction

For the love of god do not go above your bosses head to do something he told you to drop unless you want to be unemployed. Send the CYA email but be aware if that VP pressures the boss to do your idea you better hope he doesn’t say it’s because of you they’re forcing this. Is there maybe a cost associated with the upgrade to windows 10 version for that software? I’ve had vendors quote me everything from 3k to 150k for the upgraded version and move assistance to go from server 08 to server 2012 compatibility (equivalent of 7-10 desktop)

There probably is a windows 10 and later compatible version, but you may need to upgrade and there’s a capital expense the business may be unwilling to do
