No I just expect them to make their leveling system not complete ass.
Please, explain it to me in detail - why does killing two hippos gain me more power than killing Messmer? I’ll wait.

A friend of mine works for Deloitte, can you tell me more?
The blessing system kind of sucks, basically the most fucked up milestone leveling you can think of.
“Yeah, I know you just killed a demigod… but you know what you should really do? Go kill some hippos. That’ll get you true power.”
I’m just gonna go ahead and say ratio’d. And yes, I’ve read all of the discourse ITT.
2024 = 2030
Interesting math you’ve got there
You seem to have missed me pointing out that countless other bad things have happened, which is the ‘orphan crushing machine’ point.
I mean, yes, but the only way you don’t see the implications of the headline is if you’re willfully ignoring them.
I agree, it’s nice that her kids and grandkids have a house they can live in. What about those 85 years she went without a home? That’s a shitload of time an entire lifetime, and what about the other people who have had horrible things done to them for horrible reasons? Who will receive nothing?
I’m with you, yes this is a nice thing. It’s not at all unhealthy to draw these conclusions from the story, however.
This seems very specific, hopefully you aren’t speaking from experience.
Whenever I see something like this I’m conflicted. We shouldn’t need to sue for things like this, it shouldn’t ever be allowed to happen in the first place. Obviously do it if you can prove it, I have nothing wrong with the person suing, but it just shouldn’t need to happen in the first place.
You can see the guy completely stop moving in the reflection on the sliding glass door
We can’t all be perfect like you
Am I the only one that would probably be gaslit into believing it and be really really pissed off when I learned the truth?
The guy suggested that practicing basic hygiene is ‘faking it’ and trying to ‘fit in’.
I don’t want to use the words ‘lost cause’ but I’m getting close.
I’m sure someone finds this relatable
I think Hanlon’s Razor probably applies. It’s likely just some person enjoying a Pepsi at the end of the day and throwing it out because they’ll pile up in their car otherwise.
Laziness is something that’s lauded in this day and age, they likely just don’t understand that what they’re doing is wrong.
I could be wrong, but most people aren’t malicious.
If you’re reading this, just know that I will probably butt heads with you at some point. I can be abrasive, and I typically don’t censor what I think.
That being said, I wouldn’t choose any other social media. Lemmy makes me think of what the United States should be, disparate communities coming together to form a larger and stronger whole. I can be an asshole, spit my shit and have people discuss things with me in a rational manner - for the most part coming to a common understanding.
I’ve learned a lot about who I want to be from talking to and reading what Lemmians have to say. I will always appreciate this place.
It’s easy to feel that way even if you are a techy. It seems like being minimally neurodivergent is the abnormal here.
That being said, I’ve been introduced to many different ways of thinking that I wouldn’t have gained otherwise. Think of it like you’re different, but that’s ok because everyone here is different - and that makes them (and you) all the more beautiful for it (especially in the context of idea exchange). In fact, being the different one here will give you the perspective that many of the people who use Lemmy experience simply by existing which, in and of itself, is a valuable thing.
Yeah but then they might sweat a little bit, and god forbid that happen.
