We’ve all done it.
We’ve all done it.
Huh. My one+ lets me hide apps and lock the hidden drawer behind a code from 2020.
Would be hilarious, in light of sonys recent decisions, if it required a Live account to play.
Thanks! Saving…
I really liked the one that came with the PS5. It was both a great introduction to the controller, as well as a homage to the PlayStations of the past.
Does it have loops? And barrel rolls?
After death, wealth. Sometimes.
Haven’t seen an ad for a while. But wasn’t livejasmin on a certain class of site? Not that I’d know anything about that or anything…
The graphics in WC blew me away. The sound in wc2 (rise thrakath) did the same. Wc3 movie production values. Privateer open galaxy navigation. Chris Roberts was on a roll!
Nah, sss is the phenomena they are trying to capture. When we comparing it to reality, i.e. the intended results, it looks fake because they haven’t figured how to model it such that it both looks good and renders in a reasonable amount of time. CG milk looks like crap for the same reason.
It’s definitely more than 1 molecule thick. CG people call it sub-surface scattering.
Well yeah. You’re comparing with the German marques. You gotta compare em with the American stuff. That way they don’t look so bad.

For some reason I stared at the image for 30 seconds then looked at a blank wall.
Hahaha… Can relate. Visited a brother in the UK during winter from the tropics. So on board I was in jeans and a t-shirt. Only the airport didn’t have the boarding tubes, so we had to walk from the plane to the bus, then from the bus to the terminal. I severely underestimated the distance, had no jacket (in my luggage) and was just trying to maintain ‘cool’ the whole time, controlling breathing and fighting the shivers the whole time.
I think it’s well known that they use state of the art algorithms, hands on guidance by human qualifiers, and fifth generation AIs to isolate, statistically rank and identify particularly obnoxious passengers to compile in a list of candidates for people to seat next to me.
Can believe. I was involved with a digital music startup once, and learned that the labels take the vast majority of the sticker price. The artist would make bank from concerts, but only took home maybe 5%. The songwriter got majorly screwed with 0.5%. The reason they gave was their ‘distribution channels’. Digital distribution was supposed to get rid of this bullshit. Dunno if this has changed.
I feel this is the same with engineers versus the c-level 'idea people’s. Talent (i.e. the people doing the work) is grossly underpaid. Turns out passion doesn’t pay the bills most of the time.
I’d like to see them try, though…
Well said! Now about some forum commenters…
Good man. The cleaners at my dorm in college were the same. Seemed genuinely grateful to pause and chat when I’d ask about their day. After that I’d chat when I met them in the hall.
The next US presidential debate in a nutshell.
