Same here. Nobara was too glitchy so I switched to Bazzite and love it so far. Sigh.

When I was living in a car I’d wardrive nightly to find Wifi. This was before Wifi was commonly available in public spaces, and household routers often used a default password or no password at all. I’d use it to pirate games and movies to keep myself entertained.
Later I moved into a 4 plex apartment and convinced the neighbors to share one Internet connection. We ran ethernet through walls and across the roof and split the bill.
You really shouldn’t use your debit card for anything other than withdrawing money at an ATM. Credit cards are safer plus you get rewards.
I finally got a Plex client up and running on a raspberry pi for my CRT TV. So now I can watch all of my old movies and shows without swapping out a DVD when I’m comfy.
VR Chat two days a week, Horizon three days a week, Resonite one day a week. It’s a slightly different crowd between the platforms with some overlap. We play Walkabout Mini Golf once a month, too.
Yep! They were a godsend in the first two weeks. I’ve also been going to AA meetings in VR.
Alcohol, but I’m 53 days sober
Well, pumpkins, looks like it’s the age-old dilemma. Style… or substance.
Outside of work I can probably deep focus for 1 to 2 hours per day. Working a full-time job and taking care of a home is simply too exhausting for me to focus longer than that.
I do want to caution that hobbies and passions shouldn’t make you feel rundown. It’s great to have a goal, but make sure you’re taking care of yourself and having fun along the way.
To be clear, I’m implying that you don’t know what you’re talking about and you are giving nonsense advice.
I’ve been pirating for decades and never gave af how much I download in a day. Several hundred gigs on a weekend isn’t unusual. Never got an ISP letter or had any issues, because I use private trackers.
I gave up in the first episode when a pair of cops drew their firearms, and the one said to the other “safeties off”. And the other cop just brushes the slide release because he was holding a Glock, which famously does not have a safety. I just couldn’t take it seriously after that.
Take a vacation and see if that improves things. If so, burnout. If not, look for other reasons that you’re lacking motivation.
Quest 3. I only play Resonite which has native Linux compatibility so it might be easier for that reason.
Fuck it, UDP all the way. Who cares if the data actually arrives?
I play my Switch now and then, and tend to dump unnecessary amounts of money towards always having the latest console, but there’s been nothing shown that has tempted me to get a Switch 2. I’ll wait until there’s a new Zelda game and an OLED model.
I’m a lifelong Windows user and tried Linux many many times but could never wrap my head around it. Recently I installed Nobara and it’s exactly the noob-friendly experience I need. All of my games run flawlessly, even the VR game I play. And everything is just FASTER. I never realized how bloated Windows was until now. I can’t imagine going back to Windows at this point.
No, I heat it up. It tastes better and has a better texture when heated.
A women’s clothing brand. Back when I was on Reddit there was a subreddit for it and all of the women would brag about their weekly hauls that they spent hundreds on, and how they would have to hide it from their husbands, or how their constant purchases were leading to fights in their household. It was insane.
Use SteamDB to check price histories. Steam Sales often present the lowest historical price on any game.
