Or what I did recently: “Just go to war over claim for Kingdom of Serbia, that can’t be that long”.
That’s great unless that person’s files get corrupted/deleted or hard drive fails. Then having backups in the cloud or at least ona a device on a local network is a good idea.
I don’t think I’d be happy if all my savings were reduced to $15.
First OS: Windows ME (shudders)
First Linux distro: Some random one designed to run on Netbooks (Couldn’t get wireless to work if I remember correctly)
While I don’t really like to play newer Doom games (still would rather play original Doom or Doom 2), they really look great and metal as fuck.
That’s why I only code as a hobby.
Frutiger Aero was best. Not only for beautiful design, but also there were standards people followed on making UI’s. Now everything goes. Last time I wanted to register on some shitty website it didn’t provide me any feedback that I wrote “weak” password (I copied it from KeePass), except literally green button that you could click like a madman and it didn’t do anything but went gray when password was “strong enough”.
Now this makes me wonder… is there a list on Wikipedia that lists every weird list there?
I am already learning to use FreeBSD. I definitely recommend reading the official handbook, it is even a pretty great introduction to Unix overall.
I’ve done this before building a dssktop PC. Probably not a bad way to start if you’re planning to have a desktop anyway, but not have enough money to buy all things needed to buy one.
I once played EU4 too much as I’ve continued to “play” it in sleep, and later wondered why didn’t it save.
It pisses me off that sometimes I use different words to describe something and people just have trouble understanding what I mean. Are most people crazy?
At that point you might as well add an alias that does all these three things.
I like how in English you can put emphasis on You in “Thank you”, and it has slightly different in meaning. Somehow I’ve only noticed that like few years ago.
I like how they end support for OS without providing an upgrade for a lot of people. Might as well put a Linux ad in their “Your PC is not supported” bullshit.
Everything. I don’t have time for accessing it and searching for what I am looking for.
Start menu 🤮
I’d rather play (the real) football, than watch it, and I don’t even like it.
