Same here.
PS: Apparently a lot of Americans aren’t even familiar with the word fortnight.
It means two weeks if anyone hasn’t heard it before.
Just a silly feller

There’s one guy in my little group of friends who is an unapologetic hugger, even though the rest of us don’t really hug he’ll always hug everyone goodbye. I’d say it’s possible some guys don’t enjoy it, but I actually really appreciate it about him, it’s nice getting a hug and sometimes I really need one.
For anyone who really doesn’t like it they can always offer their hand first, but on behalf of all the guys who need a little affection from their buds sometimes I wanna say thanks for being there for the friends who need it. Even if they never say so I’m sure some of them appreciate it.
I might be misunderstanding but that sounds different to a specific alpha channel. Sometimes in game art you’ll store extra information in the alpha channel of a texture. Or even pack four different grayscale images into the rgba channels of a single texture. Is it easy to do stuff like that?
I’ll try it again, looks like it’s come some way since I last checked.
I hate adobe and have been actively trying to switch away from them for a while. I work in game development, though, and for some reason no one has made it as easy to directly modify the alpha channel of a texture. It’s something I have to do a lot and is probably the one thing keeping me from using krita or affinity photo.
That is awesome, nice work.
There’s also titles where the Devs cooked and ended up spending too much time and resources and underdelivered on huge flops. See Daikatana or whatever kickstarter game is disappointing people at the moment. Making games is just difficult, let alone making something that everyone loves.
Yeah, so much US content gets geoblocked here. It’s super weird, just a random clip from a show on youtube? woops, looks like that content isn’t available in your country.
Yes, I’ve always loved forests. Would love to live near one.
I’ve been registered for a while now. I really don’t see a good reason not to, they only take 'em if I’m dead and what good are they to me then? Better going to someone in need.
So many posts perfectly summarising why I’ve always preferred the reddit format over twitter. On one you follow topics, on the other you follow people. I prefer to hear a wide range of views on one topic rather than one persons views on different topics.
could be because they use a service with fees for their online payments, but I suspect it’s also because they expect people to cough up a bit extra for the convenience.
I’m in Australia and where I live they’re required to have three options for paying rent. Two were incredibly inconvenient and one was online and had a fee. Pretty sure they’re just scumbags.
I love emojis even though I don’t use them much. I just think it’s really cool that this idea emerged and everyone got on board and now it’s almost like a whole universal language - modern hieroglyphics or whatever else you want to call it. Plus they’re just kinda fun and sometimes it’s easier to convey a reaction with a specific smiley than it is with words. Language, however beautiful and elegant, is still sometimes wanting, you know?
I visited South Korea and drove while I was there, they had loads of fake speed bumps where they were just painted on but had no actual bump. Definitely made you slow down if you didn’t know the area.
They also had lots of poles with flashing blue and red lights, so you thought there were cops ahead until you got close enough to realise it was just a pole.
The place is playing full-on psychic warfare on the roads.
people like dicks and titties, what’s the problem?
Might be waiting a while if you’re on Debian. But should be pretty nice once it’s working.
One of my favourite anecdotes is that the agency stole the music in that ad. After a lot of effort the guy that made it finally got them to pay royalties.
As a man… that sounds about right lol. I was watching a show and then realised if I wanted the later seasons I’d have to subscribe to a different service and I took that personally and got annoyed and now I just pirate stuff. No one tells this manly feller what to do.
I’m a fan. I’ve been playing a heap of Shattered Pixel Dungeon lately which is a fork of Pixel Dungeon. I think it’s really cool that anyone can make their own fork of a base project and tweak it how they like. Especially if the original ever gets abandoned.
I’m a game dev by trade, but more of an artist than a programmer, but I like to work on little hobby projects and being able to look into source code is really helpful and nice.
If anyone genuinely enjoys this you can check my comments for a very spicy way too long argument we’re both way too involved in. TRIGGER WARNING: I am a vegan and it is about that, but also not really?
Also no more vegan arguments for me tonight, let’s just keep the argument about that one guys mum.
