They’re not. They’re just drones regurgitating any and all propaganda they can find.

My mom would have to make me put books down to eat dinner. Then came along 5th grade. We had to read 50 books, each one representing a US state and the states were grouped up in different categories. The books had to be chosen from a pre approved list and the books were anywhere from 6th grade to 8th grade reading difficulty. Then we had to write a full page summary on the book. Which meant on average we were reading more than a book a week. That piled on top of all the other homework the other teachers piled on and it was fucking miserable. I spent almost every school night from the moment I got home to the moment I had to go to bed doing homework, also I had to get up early because I was the first bus stop so yay getting up at 5:30 AM to make the bus. Bonus was I was also the last stop so I got to spend over 2 hours a day on the bus. I usually had so much homework that I’d start doing it on the bus home. Oh and if you fell behind in reading you got punished by staying inside for 2nd recess to read more. By the time I left 5th grade I hated school, I hated reading, I hated teachers, and I hated learning. And I still do to this day. I feel like the education system failed me and I’m suffering for it now.
That’s a lot of weird assumptions in one post.
They changed the lights here so that when one road goes red then it’ll wait 2-3 seconds for the cross traffic. Problem is that everybody knows this so it’s almost a guarantee that someone will run the red light. Usually it’s 3-4 if in busy areas. I’ve seen hundreds of times where our light will go green and still 3 more cars blow through. Which means that light has been red for them for a good 5 seconds. Longer than most yellow lights.
That’s probably why I don’t feel good at programming. I just don’t have “that project” I want to do yet so I’m stuck in tutorial hell where I can finish the tasks but tell me to go build a website and I’m lost on where to start. Odin Project at least forced me to start from scratch after a while, but it really shows just how bad my planning is to build something from the ground up.
How much are you getting paid to shill this hard?
You sound like a kid whining about other kids. The people complaining are mostly adults who are reasonably upset that their data is being harvested. Yes the steam page did say a PSN account was required. Except it wasn’t and the game worked fine for months just to have sony come back and tell us that it’s suddenly required now. Kids don’t give a fuck about making a new account.
I don’t get why the self proclaimed chill dudes are always the least chill. Honestly if I see you in my game I’m booting you. You sound like an ass.

Haha look how quirky and relatable that is. I can totally relate. Isn’t that super relatable to programmers? What funny.
“Oh it’s done preheating but I have 2 more minutes left in this game. I’ll put my food in when I’m done.”
2 hours later and I remember it’s on. I do this all the time.

A while ago a found a hot pocket in the microwave that I had forgotten about 3 days prior. I’ve also left the oven on more than once. Sometimes a single alert isnt enough.
History channel once played something called “History Rocks” and it’s just an hour long documentary of period specific events, but there’s no voice over narrating anything. Instead they played raw footage with music from that time period and subtitles at the bottom explaining what was happening. I saw one episode for Vietnam once and hearing “The Police - SOS” while watching personnel shove helicopters off flight decks to make room for more evacuees from Saigon really showed just how awful it was. I can’t seem to find those episodes anywhere.
Oh yeah for sure. It’s given me incorrect code before but I was able to recognize the issue and fix the error which was mostly a logic one.
Good article however I would like it if the scroll bar on the examples was always visible. On mobile it took me a minute to realize there was more to some of the code snippets, like the square function in the .map() example.
I may do that already when I get stuck… Tbf I am trying to learn and only ask it to explain how to do something or if I have a bug I can’t figure out. I feel sometimes it’s just best to get an answer if I’ve been stuck for a while because I’m not making progress anyway.
I used to use a sound card until it died. When I researched how to get good sound I found most people use a DAC/amp combo now. But onboard is usually good enough. It was a noticable upgrade but not sure if it was worth the money.
