Playing Motorstorm with the 6-axis in the controller was a surreal experience. And that was a launch title. Same with playing a mature FPS from the makers of Ratchet & Clank and Spyro.

I really enjoyed Dungeon Encounters. So I’m all for this.
Not required. But it could be something they have to decide before throwing them on the store. I can’t think of any other reason not to do it other than licensing.
I want all of the classics catalog that was made available on the PS3 store to come back. I understand some games have had remasters. But I’d love to see they rest on the PS5.
It can’t be that hard, right? Is it just making trophies available for them?
I’ll get it for cheap at some point when it goes on sale. I remember playing 2 and liking it. But also that it felt kind of like a fever dream.
Does it? Because we’re still solidly on the side of the vast majority of women in games being attractive, even in the games where the examples come from.
Nothing was confirmed other than two artists saying they’ve had push backs on their models. Also, just play a game. There’s plenty of attractive women in games. Sorry if not literally every single woman looks like a supermodel anymore.
Also odd that the title directly contradicts itself by saying it’s specifically black women, in their experience, which would be an entirely different issue.
Also odd that the article mentions The Last of Us Pt 2. That game has a lot of conventionally attractive women. I assume they’re talking about one character in particular. And she wasn’t made less attractive, she’s just a butchy woman. That’s pretty core to her character.
Odd that they didn’t mention the new Fable which is where I’ve heard the most whining. Then again I’ve heard whining from Stellar Blade of all games.
Who is the Batman character they’re complaining about anyways? Is it Harley? Wtf are they getting at with that pic?
Hopefully it will get PSVR2 support.
Playstation and Xbox regularly put games on sale. And their base prices almost always go down over time. I assume Steam is more steep discounts. But you can absolutely get by without paying full price on consoles if you wait.
I’m surprised they confirmed the PS5 in the trailer. Usually if a console is hosting the reveal trailer, they keep that ambiguous, but just won’t put exclusive.
Also, that would have been a huge deal about a year ago when everyone assumed these unrevealed games would be xbox exclusive.
I don’t play sports games. But I’m surprised that they don’t shut them down as soon as the next entry comes out.
Makes sense. They want to make PS launch exclusives feel like exclusives as much as possible. The longer the delay the better (for them).
Isn’t Octopath Traveler basically that? I didn’t play it, but that’s what it looked like.
Also, did anyone play Final Fantasy Dimensions 1 and 2? They were literally that.
Also, Dungeon Encounters was a ton of fun. But it’s essentially no story, pure turn based combat.
I’ve only ever played a demo for DMC and I hated it. But I loved XVI’s combat, which actually evolves quite a bit as you get more abilities.
I literally saw Animal Well for the first time on the sale page on PSN just before it launched. I thought about buying it because it looked good.
Meanwhile, I saw a ridiculous amount of hype for XVI every time news or a trailer dropped for it. The demo convinced me to pick it up, and I’m so glad I did. It sucks because it’s the first mainline single player game since XII (or maybe X) that lives up to the brand.
Seems more like someone taking a picture of the food, and then leaving without trying it. They still appreciate the food, just not the part that makes it great.
I already bought the Pixel Remaster version. Maybe I’ll start it after next month’s FFV Four Job Fiesta challenge.
I do not include XI or XIV. Also, I still haven’t beaten II, IV, or VI. But I’ve beaten the rest and some of the spin-offs.
The game had so many moments where I said “this seems like it should be a big deal”. It turns out the moment was tied to the movie/show/DLC.
I’ve heard from people who liked it that this has been exceptionally hard (but also exceptionally fair and gratifying).
