I’m sure it’s disrupted the order of my life but I haven’t the attention span to investigate.

I’ve been toying with the idea of getting back into Linux for a while now. While I’m still on W10 I’m not rushing, and haven’t installed a TPM Module so Windows doesn’t force W11 on me yet, but when I have no choice that may push my hand. There’s some stuff I find easier on Windows but Linux has really caught up in the past 20 years and I reckon I could daily it in the coming years.
I don’t mind adding to the end of a shuffled playlist you’ve a set, but not inserting between songs you’ve chosen. Don’t think YTM does that yet.
That’s rough :(
Probably. But keeps me off the cigs and stops me feeling as shite. Next stop, quitting vaping too. I only use a small device with very subtle output.
It’s a shame some of the locals hurled racist abuse to a diverse student body from Imperial many moons back!
I didn’t, never do, but saw her the shop before shouting at a colleague who was overwhelmed and asking for help. She genuinely seemed to be allergic to work.
That’s wild, how big is your house? My monthly spend on heating is 1/4 of that during winter to keep it at 21.
Trying to explain that 25 degrees Celsius in the UK is considered hot doesn’t really work. It’s something you have to experience. Here the perception of heat and how we handle it is so different to elsewhere. For reference today it’s highs of 9 and lows of 4 where I live. And it’s nearly the end of April. For context that’s highs of 48F, lows of 39F.
Anyone who has to use Windows and suffers this, PowerToys is your friend. Locksmith identifies what’s locking your file and allows you to free it up. Dunno why PowerToys isn’t bundled by default tbh.
Grim Fandango, Full Throttle and Normality all have vivid memories in my brain.
As in, Kent?
I do scan as you shop. So when I get to the checkout, answer a question about whether everything scanned OK and then pay. But today we had 70+ items in our shop and got flagged for random spot check. Some exasperated cashier, frustrated she actually had to do some work and couldn’t just sit there having excess calories around her waist weighing her down heavily breathed “I need to check 40+ of these”. So that took forever.
Keep it up. We had a step challenge at work and I was regularly getting like 14,000-22,000 a day for the month. Now that’s over I’m averaging like 5.2k a day and I should sort that.
you can go hunter2 my hunter2-ing hunter2
When AltaVista was actually good was another highlight. Babel Fish was great for its time.
Funnily enough, I have a playlist with the Andor score and some nice medley / covers which I have called “And/or”
MVC2, Soul Calibur, Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio. Loads of fun times had!
