Don’t use the tools then. On my mage I specifically don’t use Comet or Mimic Tear because I think they are too strong. From software didn’t remove any tools from the game that let’s you make it challenging.

All the other games had OP shit too. DS1 had BKH and Chaos zweihander. So easy to get super strong wepons. DS2 had some crazy dark magic BS. DS3 also had crazy dark magic BS with greater soul dredge. I killed nameless king with like 5 casts in NG+.

They didn’t sacrifice anything in Elden Ring, they made a great series more available to everyone.

Not to start a war about hardest boss and haven’t beaten DLC yet but Elden Ring has what alot of people would say is the hardest boss in the franchise. Like Elden Ring did open things up to more people with the open world making it easier to go around or bypass walls, but it isn’t easier.

Like there isn’t a single boss in DS1 or 2 that comes anywhere close to fighting Melania. IMO Bloodborne and DS3 have contenders but if you are 100%ing the game Elden Ring is just as hard as any other souls game. Although the horse and teleporting does make some of the zones easier to explore, there are still difficult dungeons.

I think alot of people remember DS1 being much harder because we were also learning the system, how it plays, how to win.

If you would like tips I beat him with parries. Basically all his attacks other than his special wind slash and follow up can be parried. I Basically never used parry before and found he was a good enemy to practice until I was consistent.

If he wips out the crossbow stay at range and run to a side when he fires. Don’t need to roll and don’t want to close the distance until he is done.

I have seen other people use big wepons to pancake or stunlock him too.

The alternative is absolutely unfathomable. Like I am an atheist and the fact we exist in any capacity is insane. Where did everything come from? Where will it go? People believe in religion because it’s easier.

When I have an existential crisis over it I sometimes wish I was religious.

In my experience a Resume is a one page. A CV is 2-3.

Mine doesn’t sound like anything but I can change the cadence or accent. Like it doesn’t make the “noise” as hearing. Like it bypasses those “channels”.

Person being crushed is protestors/dissenters that is being crushed by a large oppresive whale (police/media/counter protestors) for speakingout against the whale. Other person comes allong to help, raises their voice, and is told to “keep things civil” as if they are the instigators, while the whale is maliciously using its weight to stiffle the oppressed.

Basically the norms and establishment of society is large and unwieldy and can crush any oppsition with no way of retaliation. And if somone points it out, dispite being equally small and cannot truly harm the whale, they are the ones out of line and instigators.

I think Owlcat makes fantastic dnd games. They made Pathfinder: Kingmaker, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, and Rogue Trader. They could certainly do more than half as good as Larian. However, their big problem with pathfinder games is that they are stupid long and kinda bog down with so so so many items and talents in the late game.

I was entering my appartment lobby as someone was going to leave (door swings out). I went to open a door for them, stand to the side, and let them out before going in myself. However, I went for the handle as they hit the auto handicap door opener so I am just standing there sudo holding the handle as it SLOWLY self opens and waiting for them to go through.

The fluxuations will be dampened by the fact people get hungry around 12 and 5. When people are able to buy food (lunch breaks and end of work day) will also limit such fluctuations. Maybe a sine wave will form but there probably isn’t enough people with the ability or forsight to try and game the system.

For the people who really value or benifit from the research like masters and Ph.D students the research is is the primary advertising. They are not mutually exclusive. Let the people who care about the team/sports have their thing. For a lot of people it could be their motivation for going there and getting an education.
