Great find, saving these.
Great find, saving these.
I’ve found it pretty easy to avoid with a bit of curation but I understand they’re a “necessary” evil that comes with every major user migration.
World’s Best doesn’t either, they use a thicker, different material that cuts way down on dust. It doesn’t quite clump as well as others but it’s close enough for me.
We dug those up years ago though, I have one framed from Alamogordo.
It’s sometimes called face blindness but is also known by Prosopagnosia.
I watch two ads in the morning…
I watch two ads at night…
I watch two ads before I watch two ads, because YouTube thinks it’s right.
…FUUUUCK YOUTUBE…
It was specifically in a police TV show, spare us the tried joke.
I don’t mind it at all. Let people vent and release from their old addiction. It’s happened for every migration going back to AOL.
If anything, WE can control what we see and if you’re in areas that constantly have reddit complaints maybe it’s time to curate that subscription list a bit better. Or use a Lemmy app that filters by keyword. You have the power.
Some very interesting stats. I wondered who might take over as RARBG exited the scene.
The API is new but took time and effort, it just wasn’t available at the time.
It didn’t at the time I’m speaking of.
I love kbin but being a one man show and lacking API it was never really going to be the replacement. I am, however, glad to have it as one of a handful of smaller alternatives and a sort of cousin to Lemmy.
Great pull. I’ve used that song as a chill background when doing work for years. Love it.
I didn’t even realize it was POSSIBLE to differentiate those sections let alone remove them. Thanks for inadvertently informing me.
All the tasty data collection and surveillance with none of the calories.
Historical precedent and #2/#3 on my list above make the case for erring on the side of caution. That and we’ve got far more to lose than to gain.
Any chance they accept gift cards or a temporary Visa you can charge up? If not, that would be a bummer.
