It’s really too bad that Lemmy MAUs are once again on a decline curve. I was really hoping we would stabilize above 50K MAU.

You’re clearly trolling
Sounds like baiting/trolling to me.
Mods should have the opportunity to ban people that are clearly acting in bad faith.
I think you know the answer to your question. :)
IIRC, when the URL (on the Mastodon side) is the first line, it pushes a text URL as the heading in Lemmy.
Image attachments work too, if you’re only using images.
The issue is you can’t have a Lemmy URL, a text heading and a custom thumbnail image in a single post.
This creates problems if you have both a Lemmy community and a Mastodon account and you want post only from the Mastodon account (with the post also going to Lemmy).
I spent a lot of time experimenting with this and I couldn’t find a good solution. I stick to posting to Lemmy and Mastodon using separate accounts.
Where the fields in a Lemmy post (heading/URL/Thumbnail URL) are inputted correctly from a Mastodon post. URL is not even possible unless it’s part of the body.
They can indeed federate, but IMO it’s not useful beyond simple posts.
There is no way to “sync” the text heading/URL/thumbnail.
I am more curious about the framing and general tone.
I am curious about the contents for the announcement.

They are a tankie instance though. This is a factual statement, not an insult.
An insult would be “ML is infested with degenerate tankie scum”.
Thank you for confirming the following:
The Blahj instance takes everything you hate about Reddit power mods and elevates them to federation level. Extreme overreaction, self-righteousness, the ‘If you disagree with me, you’re transphobic’ bullshit and the complete inability to have a conversation with people who disagree with them.
Courtesy of FauxLiving (an excellent point I must add).
I stand by what I said.
The original post did not contain any of this information and did imply that feddit.uk admins were slow to react and did not see this as priority. The discussion around pushback to the comment was actually brought up by a feddit.uk admin who described your statement as mischaracterization.
An instance can do what they want. That doesn’t change the fact that accusing admins of another instance of supporting transphobia (that was de facto the claimed reason for defederation) without proof is not appropriate.
No, that is not what I am arguing for.
I am saying a large minority of this forum to do not agree with your views. It’s not three people.
I never asked you to start a project to quantify anything. I am just pointing out that your statement “all of YPTB (less three individuals) agrees with me” is factually incorrect. It is not a small minority, that is clear.
Your claim that only people who got banned by BLZ disagree with you is also wrong.
I have, yes. Nothing about the statement implies Pondercat is full of shit (i.e. lying).
Because if the text is correct, the argument that you want to prevent brigading isn’t relevant anymore. If the text is incorrect and one is concerned about brigading, then one would openly let everyone know that Pondercat has the wrong text.
What does a censure imply? Would it also include the offending comment (a possible copy of which has already been shared).
Surely you can’t just call for broad defederation (if that’s what censure implies) without actually providing hard evidence?
Thanks to the lemm.ee team.
Sad to see the instance go down. Lots of good communities go down.
