This should be the top comment. Corporations should not be allowed to play the game of ‘let’s see how long we can get away with this’.

Totally agree! I When people mention Andor I immediately think of the monologues rather than any of the action sequences. I think that tells how good the writing was.
I agree! But also both Hinduism and Islam had cleanliness rituals baked into their religion. Maybe they were able to notice historically that periodic bathing multiple times a day, helped them to avoid diseases!
Sorry! Didnt mean to offend! Indians typically use their hands to wipe their butts with water. I think it is cleaner and uses less water relatively. The joke I intended to make was that India has been using water to wash themselves for several years whereas the west needed the invention of a bidet to force the change.
Meanwhile 1000 generations of Indians stare at you disgusted by your over reliance on technology.
No that’s cryogenic. Cyanogenic is the small capsule that spies bite on when they are captured so that they can die quickly.
I really like history based art like this one. I just feels a bit cheated when it comes from AI. When a human does it there is usually some meaning behind each choice. Such as why the golden nails, the different writing instruments on the table, lighting facilities. In order to be accurate the artist spends a lot of time verifying what was historically available at the time and then represents it on canvas. With AI the results look very cool at surface level but I cannot enjoy the details. Did ancient Egyptians use a thin candle? Did they have pencil cup, an ink bottle? Did they write on sheets of paper?
IF there is an all-seeing entity that oversees humans, then we are probably their tiny cats
I see how others make a point about other streaming services. But it is different with YouTube. Firstly the content is from peers not from production houses. Secondly it feels like an AH move to start out as a free service and then start charging after you know you have enough people hooked ( this is how drug dealers work too). It is not illegal but just feels immoral (not the drugs, just yt)
This makes me very happy for some reason. It is like a huge pat in the back for a community that often is under appreciated. The open source community is the last bastion that stands against the rapid capitalism that is spreading through the world. We need more such devs who appreciate this sort of feedback and more new members of the community to take up the torch and continue the good fight.
Is this expectation unreasonable? If consumers look for a monopolized service then won’t that service attempt to exploit the users? Just thinking out loud. I don’t know what the solution is.
Not sure what “grow” means here exactly. But yes, the earth’s mass will increase.
