It’d be really funny if it’s only streaming the texture for like a small bush and this is just a shitty justification
just a trans girl who likes to code and play music

It’s not even reading the book, it’s getting ready to read the book. Very frustrating
If you’re interested in fedora atomic desktops, I would check out one of the uBlue projects (you can even switch back to plain old fedora atomic if you want)
A website similar to 4chan, but much much worse. They’d dox pretty much anyone they didn’t like, often LGBTQ+ people and allies
Yeah I mostly said that because some distros have different difficulty getting them last I checked, but the wording was unclear to say the least
I use bazzite, and it admittedly isn’t the best for out-of-the-box development work because of it being atomic
You can just make a container for your development, but I’d rather not (I just layer packages atm and I’m working on making my own image based on it that has the stuff I want)
I typically recommend pop!_os over Manjaro
Realistically, though, most distros will work well for gaming if you install steam, proton-up, and maybe lutris so long as you don’t need Nvidia drivers
Has ddg ever really claimed to use its own index? I’ve always thought of it being a bing frontend
edit: Apparently start page pulls from Google and Bing (going off of this)
I disagree. I’ve used KDE’s discover thingy to install stuff basically through dnf on fedora. It’s incredibly possible for the average user, who basically just browses the web and maybe writes documents.
wait why am I being shaved? /j
Backup cameras are pretty good imo because they let you see the small things you wouldn’t be able to see out of a mirror. Helps prevent needless accidents. If you don’t wanna use it, just don’t look at it. Most cars should still have rear view mirrors
I’d be willing to bet it’s people fearing another xz-like situation
My Samsung A11 (android 12) has a “lockdown” option when you held the power button. It would turn off all biometrics and hide notifications. You may have to dig in the settings to enable it, though
Most of those are optional lol The only ones that aren’t are the network ones, and after looking at the source code, it’s mostly used for error messages
That’s probably just the marketing reason. The realistic reason is probably that they want to sell you their brand of wireless earbuds that need to be replaced in a few years tops
They’re pretty well enabling genocide, which is more or less similar to committing genocide for most people.
If it helps, I’m pretty sure the devs are in the process of rewriting the UI on a private repo. Idk if there’s any eta or progress chart
I feel like AOSP, at the very minimum, should have its own “tips and tricks” list (ideally in the form of a built-in app). Ideally every OEM flavor of Android should. I should not have to look it up in order to find these out tbh
You can also swipe down with 2 fingers and bring up the full quick settings thing with just one swipe
Look under “Principal Software Development Engineer.” It says “2017-present”
