I’m hungry and tired enough that this looks absolutely amazing right now

We’re snuggly right up until we get bitey.
Nope. Nope.
I don’t mind a hug, but I have zero desire to snuggle or wrestle with my friends, male or female.
Except it’s not so much “shiny” that distracts me, as it is literally anything.
There are things that I’ve intended to do for months. Many times, I’ve been on my way to do it, only to have some little thing distract me, and then completely forget about what I intended to do. Maybe a child asks me a question. Maybe I stop to take a sip of water. Maybe I just start thinking about something else in that 10 second walk. The significance of the distraction does not matter; the task immediately vacates my mind. I often even remember that I was going to do something, but I cannot remember what.
I definitely learned useful things in community college – at least in so far as general education courses can be considered useful. There were some duds, of course. However, I don’t feel like I got much more out of university classes of the same level.
With that being said, you may just have the misfortune of attending a lackluster school.
How many times are they going to try this shit?
My wife’s job has all of those amenities, too! Well, it didn’t at first, but she’s been 100% WFH since covid. She’s got an office with a window, cats in the workplace, lunch is brought to her straight from the kitchen, and she can even take breaks to go on walks with her family during the day.
A bit off topic, but I was playing RimWorld and ended up with a colonist nicknamed Real Estate. He got captured during a raid at one point. I kept waiting for the quest to rescue him so I could post this meme, but it never happened…
But if they don’t understand what mansplaining is (and are the type to use the word despite not understanding it), any explanation you offer is likely to be considered “mansplaining.”
Woo, grunge!
I’m a big fan of flat design, too. To be fair, I basically loved every style in its time. Regardless, I like flat.
A serving is often treated as singular a unit in English. Popcorn, rice, candy, etc. “I ate all of it,” not “I ate all of them.” Only when referring to pieces of popcorn does it become them.
Got it, thanks!
I don’t have anything to add, but I want to take a moment to applaud your comment. Well done, truly.
Excuse me, yellow is Joy, green is Disgust, purple is Fear, blue is Sadness, and red is Anger. Anyone who has seen Inside Out should know this. Anyone who hasn’t seen it should rectify that mistake.
That’s not a white lie. It’s just a lie.
Maybe? I’m just going by my memory, which is more than a little lacking.
