It seems to be the accepted term in the scholarly and clinical community.

I like to think that there’s an ongoing saga of wits between Steve and the local wizard possum. Steve is basically wily coyote here. And the possum is a mutha fuckin wizard!
In the new release of this comic, the other guy shot first.
Can’t wait for the Thursday night primetime release of Dr. Dog: Miracle Worker on ABC. It’d be tragic if they didn’t cast Snoop as the doc.
This is exactly what Lewis Carroll was saying..
Imma gonna start correcting people with “It’s whom’d we get the letter from?” Feathers ruffled, hackles raised.

I feel really bad for this person.
Gotta shout out the Jersey City White Mana, inventor of the slider. Possibly. That’s what they say at least. I don’t know.
In the far future, “Our time scientists discovered debates about worm sizes. The basic unit for worm measurement was a rhino.” … “What is 'a rhino’s?” … “We are unsure still. But they didn’t have many.”
Medicare kinda works that way.
Cancer, as far as I’m aware, goes into remission and isn’t cured. Remission is when there isn’t any detectable signs of a cancer mass or growth in your body. So imaging doesn’t pick up any tumors, your blood work doesn’t indicate any hormonal changes, and biopsies come back negative.
A cure would be like say there is no cancer and it won’t come back. Remission is more like we have no evidence of cancer and x% of maintain that state for x years.
Fun fact: your body is constantly making cancerous cells, but you have the ability to detect and destroy them before they get out of hand. Keep that immune system strong.
Most people are talking the infinitive case for “eat”, but I’d like to point out the verb, “have had”, is the present perfect case. Still confusing and still agree with your simplification of “I ate too much”. But there’s still a meaningful difference between the two sentences.
This is the adverb form. If it were an adjective, it would be nearer to the noun and not seperated by the verb like in “He stole home plate.” “Home” is modifying the state of being or “am”.
Shark got 'im.
All you need is Titania’s mirror, a spell to summon Puk from the grimora, and some chains to bind him. He’ll do the rest.
She is a former NSA translator who sent some classified documents to The Intercept. The Intercept failed to redact the document properly allowing the NSA to view identifying marks on the printout and track her down. I believe she has been release from prison.
Most definitely. It’s been fueling the obsession.
That user name 😙🤌🏾
Been digging the possums as of late.
I was talking about collective trauma which OP was citing, though their initial term is collective PTSD.
Why would you use n-gram and not journal search engine like Google Scholar. There seems to be an engagement in the concept of collective PTSD since about 2007.
Is this an area of research or practice for you? It is not mine.
