A+ Cert in IT is fairly basic and isn’t all that useful besides a general overview of some aspects of the field. However, the most valuable portion of the cert is on troubleshooting methodology and that carries you through the rest of your career. It’s pretty common in a nutshell, try known fixes to previous issues first, then work from simple solutions (check power/cable connections, reboot, etc) to more complex solutions (reformat disk, clean wipe, etc).

The amount of times I’ve been on a million dollar salary engineering troubleshooting call and things like “checking that the credentials are working” get skipped in favor of looking for an issue in a newly written script is hilarious and happens far too frequently.

It’s not that simple solution are necessarily the most likely but that you can rule them out quickly.

It’s a skill like you say, just funny how that cert always comes to mind (it’s the entry level cert for IT for people not familiar).

Sometimes having those privacy extensions make you a lot easier to fingerprint.

They should call Drift Souls, Elden Nurburgring or Sekivroom

Houses are pretty great for a few factors

• Not sharing a wall with a neighbor
• being able to be louder in general
• Not being woken up by neighbors
• Not getting your home infested with bugs because of having a nasty neighbor
• No loud honking at night
• Not having your door accidentally knocked on to ask if your apartment neighbor is home when they’re not answering their door
• Parking in your own garage
• Having a yard for your dog/kids to play in

Apartments fucking suck in so many ways. I get that they’re pretty handy in City Skylines where everyone bases their urban planning experience from but there is a reason people prefer to live in house and it’s because it gives you separation from other people in a way apartments cannot.

I enjoy Lex’s longform style but man he does nothing journalistic, which drives me crazy. He’ll ask a hard question but never pushes back on answer cause he’s concerned about being friends with everyone moreso than actually challenging someone’s PR answer that never exists in reality.

When your topic is AI, and it’s at the forefront of national attention you’re pretty useless if you don’t have the stones to actually challenge these pie in the sky type answers the regulars give on his show.

Mostly true in normal cases. If you’re really talented there is a market for you, always. Idk if he falls in the category, and most cyber criminals have no shot at white hat anything but given his age and his feats I think he might be an exception.

Focus that distaste on bad cops, there are good ones and having a police presence in a bar hopping area is never a bad thing imo.

I mean if you were on PS4 or last gen hardware sure but largely it was stable for the specs current specs at least on PC. Had it day one and maybe a crash every other session…which is fairly normal for a resource intense game at release.

It was a solid 7/10 at launch and a clear 10/10 in the state it is in today. The new additions are fantastic and complete the experience imo.

Additionally, this isn’t new IP like Cybeypunk was, you’re not designing in-game systems from the ground up or hashing out the gameplay loop…you’re just improving on an already existing formula that is well received. The main challenge is the new engine, but as you’ve said they will also get a lot of problems solved with UE too. I think it’ll be fine in the end.

They botched it on a lot of fronts. Them not getting a nom makes sense to me.

Real talk inventory and weight limits are 99% time completely useless mechanics that detract from gameplay.
