I fucking hate all these streamer “personas”. They always turn out to be assholes.

Funny, since I’m not a seppo. I just had a high school education in eastern europe.
The name of the car leaves little room for interpretation.
Look, a right-libertarian on Lemmy! How quaint
As the message is saying, you should try installing QtQuickControls
So that’s where he’s been!
You seem really chill about this, almost like that soyjack you posted.
I disagree. I think that some aspects of the software should be open about what they’re doing to everyone. Otherwise people just get used to the idea that everything is a black box that they have no real control of. It also helps educate people on IT and its concepts overall.
Even if they can’t specifically tell what is going on, they can see something is going on. And as long as this does not make it harder to use, the more info the better.
What’s wrong with .7z?
It’s exactly what I did when I was a student. There was an old pc that had a broken winXP install. I put Xubuntu on it and made it publicly accessible to the students. They loved it.

Don’t forget the great storytelling and atmosphere. Those games must’ve inspired Mass Effect
This logo fucking rocks
Possibly? It definitely comes from a very different time. I always thought of this as a kind of national embarassement but now I learn it’s not just a polish thing.
I’ve noticed that recently when older poles try to start a clap most younger ones scoff at them and roll their eyes and it fizzles out very quickly
I thought only polish people do this. Although to be fair I’ve only been flying with other poles.
Looking at the computer hardware I think 03 is spot on. Maybe 02 at most.
I’ve never reshelled my GBA but having installed multiple aftermarket shells on my PSP, I can tell you that d-pad issues are very common because of bad measurements and quality. So maybe the problem is the new shell itself.
I think I’m too young to remember that. Every product I ever bought from them had a shitload of technical problems. And the RMA would feature them trying to pressure me into paying for unnecessary services, just like in the video.
This scam seems to be a global policy for ASUS. I live in the EU.
Asus is the worst. Never buying anything from them ever again.
I agree that this is a wider problem with streams as a genre.
I think the main problem is that starting a stream and talking about whatever in order to appeal to a larger and larger audience is rewarded rather than good research and preparing high quality content, like on YT or TikTok.
It’s just not possible when you’re streaming and would defeat the purpose. It’s all quantity over quality, so assholes get to the top.
