If you play 1-2 hours a week you probably haven’t even unlocked the free stuff yet, or got meaningful upgrades. The new guns are not that great. I use the same shotgun from day 1. Same OG kit. The game plays fine without the BPs. The game gives you free access to BP. The core game itself is very fun to play and the rewards come pretty naturally.How is this an issue?
Here the thing, if you only play 1-2 hours a week you barely have enough time to get a good load out figured out. Why don’t you just enjoy the game as is, when you have 40 hours in the game you should have unlocked a battle pass. It’s how games are monetized now. Yea I like preserving history too. I don’t like people trying to re-write history and glorify slave holders. Unfortunately, the south can’t seem to manage one without the other, so this is a good thing. I say that as someone with a deep appreciation for American architecture.
It goes both ways. We do want families and kids to come in and eat. Some people don’t tip well because they don’t have the means and that’s okay! It’s socialized service. You can look at it like you’re supporting the people who are working and those who want their kids to have experiences they otherwise couldn’t. Just like the guy who orders 3 cocktails subsidies the water and sandwhich guy. Or the 4 kids meals and fries guy. You can look at it a lot of ways.

For me, it’s just a really simple piece of context in the original post. Intuit, lobbied against the legislation for years and failed. The opposing lobby won, and we got free taxes. So why are you talking about lobby’s when clearly in the context of this post, they succeeded in bringing us good legislation. Which was reversed by a dictator taking a bribe. I do appreciate your interest in engagement in US politics. I just really need to point this fact out because it is annoying.
I didn’t even catch the last sentence. OK you’re not from the US and that makes sense. You have a better understanding of US politics the most US citizens. I for one I’m ashamed of that, but you do not have a full grasp of US politics or the history behind them or the processes we use and why we use them. The post we’re commenting other states two things. They lobbied against it for years(and failed).
They donated $1 million to the inauguration dinner and more than likely the campaign to elect Trump…. And that beat out their lobbying investment: lobbying a part of democracy. Unlimited political contributions to pay to manipulate lobbying is undemocratic.
My point is you guys missed the whole point of the meme that we’re discussing under? Paid lobbying is a real job. Funneling money to lawmakers is not, there is nothing wrong with a paid lobbyist because they exist outside of corporate interests.
We still need to find a way to reach the boomers. TV radio and word of mouth seems to work the best for that age group. Or if your young plan to bring your boomers with you and share info directly! Some people need protest buddies, and information

Theres a website for 50501 and the Hands off Movement, you basically have to check their websites regularly. Check for local movements too. Facebook has groups for locals.

I just had an old friend hit me up to talk after his recent heartbreak. My dog had died my aunty had cancer and I’m at rock bottom with my finances. Haven’t heard from this friend in years. No idea what I was going through.
I realized all my friends from my youth were really shitty. Lack of reciprocal respect and kindness over the decades really dried up my empathy response. I sent him a rap lyric and wished him the best.
From my experience those emotions are wasted on others. This is completely anecdotal but something to reflect on. I get the sense that your friendships were not worth keeping and at this point it probably doesn’t matter whose fault that is.
