And she wore an onion in her belt, as was the style at the time

Yeah, exactly the same thing at play in the movie industry as well.
And some models work without any battery at all, my dell XPS circa 2008. I am still amazed at that. It still runs too, I just retired it from server duty a few years ago once I got a dedicated server.
The problem with that is there is no middle ground, because then you rely on it daily. So you have the option of being a habitual user and living each day in a semi haze or trying other things instead
These are the kinds of things that pop into my head just before I fall asleep. Especially recently as I’m reading through The Expanse lol.
Thanks for the post, super appreciate the posting of other communties. I think this is a great way to grow Lemmy and create discoverability for niche communities, I’ll keep that in mind myself on future opportunities.
Windows has the free zones powertoy which does the same. So its an option but not in the OS by default.
Exactly the same here too. They lost over 3 months of data and barely survived it.
Not OP, but It doesn’t matter to me what they are. It can be a call to discuss weekend plans, it can be an errand I have to run, it can even be an agreement with an friend to play a multiplayer game at X time. Something like a dentist appointment is the worst though.
I’m neurodivergent and not sure how much that matters to the phenomenon
Especially if its a system that you have told management needs to be replaced but they aren’t interested in spending the money…
I had the same problem too, I ended up buying a USB Bluetooth transmitter. I figured the board was bad until I replaced it and had the same problem with the new one
Thats really interesting. I wonder how much the culture and expectations of norms in corporations makes a difference with this.
I can still hear the jingle in my head
