Which is interesting, because the point of the phrase is to imply something is so commonplace that it practically has no value. It’s so commonplace you can get a dozen of them for a dime!

So technically while the relative value of the dime in this phrase decreases, the relative value of the phrase itself increases as the dime’s value ever further approaches negligible, ever better emphasizing the point!

Fr. Even if CA stopped development on SDV today and never developed another game, he would still be a legend in my book for the amount of love and talent put into SDV. Stardew is without question simply one of the best returns on investment (it’s only $15!) available in gaming.

That’s fair, but you don’t gotta invite them in. And I will remind you that “outside” is kind of their domain, not ours 😉

All that said though, a rock or sand yard is still vastly better than a manicured lawn which serves basically no purpose other than to take in resources (mostly water) with no real output. Hell, even if you paved over your lawn with one big slab of concrete that would still probably be ecologically better than the waste involved in maintaining a manicured grass lawn!
