Going into any passionate community and dissenting for the purpose of dissenting is outright flamebait and nothing more.

It’s not. We’ve had third parties before, and we do still occasionally have independents take seats in congress(we have 3 currently)
They’ll never be even close to majority though, and they will never take the presidency.
My apologies for assuming then. It genuinely came off as pretentious and I’m sorry for misunderstanding.
I also wasn’t aware of the side effects and dangers that even EVs had. I agree that public transit should be invested in more, but I at least thought using EVs as a transition phase would help.
Reddit could always be aggressive, and if you search up the OP it looks like they went into a passionate community and stirred it up.
They didn’t deserve this level of vitriol or the lack of elucidation though. That’s definitely gotten worse over time. Part of why I left was how aggressively immature it had become, to the point where you couldn’t have normal conversations there anymore.
Sure, but those regulations have to be stuff like “no selling petroleum to people for their cars”. Are you ready for a carless world?
Are we just going to act like electric vehicles don’t exist or that the quality of EVs would be significantly higher if the current fuel and car industry wasn’t hindering their development at every turn?
I get the feeling you’re just on some ego trip about how you’re ready to return to nature, while the rest of the lower classes around the world aren’t ready to go as far as you are, despite the fact that it’s not even necessary.
Our infrastructure and our technology can change and evolve to co-exist and support the environment much better. People can retain many of their modern convivences of life while preserving nature. It will be more expensive for the wealthy at the top, more time consuming, and perhaps not exactly the same, but it can be done.
As am I. I’m a bit curious as to which viewpoint they’re discussing.
I don’t think it’s bad for people to be somewhat suspicious of bots/misinformation campaigns that occur online. We do know they occur.
That said, I believe we should still try to communicate on the various media platforms in the event that there is in fact a human behind the screen.
How long have you been using it?
I’ve been using it for years. About six months ago or somewhere around that, YouTube started a small campaign against adblockers though. In that campaign, they actually forced Vanced to rebrand to Revanced due to a lawsuit. It was in this time that through the campaign more people became aware of adblockers.
This actually sucked for users like me. The amount of times I’d have to repatch Revanced due to the constant updates was awful. It’s more stable now, but if this ever happens again it will be annoying.
If people bring attention back to adblockers, then it will be like this again. Sites will be threatening legal action and restructuring themselves to break adblockers, while adblockers will have to constantly update in order to stay functional.
We should be more grateful for these people. Our adblockers function because they don’t bother using them.
The moment that most of society starts using adblockers is the moment they become defunct when the big corporations begin actively fighting them. I’ve already witnessed this with YouTube Vanced/Revanced.
Not Caesar though.
He was wearing it all the time before he was assassinated as the senate had allowed him to do so. This was after the 5th triumph when they dumped a lot of other titles on him. The picture has the laurels in it, which is also typically just for ceremonies, so he should also be in a purple toga.
He’s not wearing purple though.
More like the client who paid for my firms services coming in, belittling the very professionals they paid to do their job and acting as if they know better.
You can feel this right now considering anyone who hasn’t already homebrewed their 3DS is doing it now that nintendo services are discontinued.
While it is good to filter through people who are unwilling or uncapable of reading/following instructions, it still feels unnecessary.
It sometimes feels like the whole world refuses to stop testing you. It’s an endless gauntlet.
I never said anywhere that you shouldn’t take the rejection personally though, nor was it implied.
How so? I never said you weren’t supposed to feel bad or that you couldn’t. Lick your wounds if you want. Just don’t lash out over it.
It will make you a genuinely more likeable person if you don’t lash out at someone for rejecting you. No sane person wants to date an individual with a temper like that, especially if you put it on display before the relationship even begins.
Being rejected sucks and is a hit to your self-image
A hit to your self-esteem maybe but you look all the better if you handle it nicely. If only guys understood that concept.
More like when you Google and half the solutions you find contradict themselves, with some of the responses to the solutions discussing the dangers.
Bought one full price, and have no regrets. It’s already paid itself off considering the amount I’ve saved on ink cartridges.
If it’s not corporations then it’s PACs astroturfing. It’s nothing new.
