Mine has a cat and a dog
Big girl come to find out. I assumed Julius was a male name.
It’s really cool to me that there is a pet snake with internet cred, what a world, thank you, I’m going to go try to find some videos and read up on his story. Such a big boy and so yellow. I love it, even more because he can’t eat me over the internet.
What kind of snakes are these? They are so cool. I would never be able to have one, I would be terrified and I’m sure my dog and cat wouldn’t be very amused either. It’s incredible to me that people are willing and able to live with a snake that big.
Creating drafts for white papers my boss asks for every week about stupid shit on his mind. Used to take a couple days now it’s done in one day at most and I spend my Friday doing chores and checking on my email and chat every once in a while until I send him the completed version before logging out for the weekend.
I got the latest airsense cpap machine and it’s extremely quiet for whatever that’s worth. If I took a video of it running with my phone it wouldn’t pick up any noise. I hate the thing and haven’t been able to get use out of it but I was shocked how quiet it is.
I really appreciate your comment but yes, I use frigate on an HAOS system. It works incredible and I have six of their cameras running along with four others from a different brand. The other four I can manipulate completely via Firefox on HAOS. The Reolink cameras just have no other option than doing the initial setup and advanced configurations from windows. So I keep a lab pc connected to that environment just so if I want to tweek anything like fps, resolution, network settings (IP, gateway, etc) that I’m able to do so. The web interface once enabling the https service on the camera has garbage capabilities compared to my other cameras. It’s not a huge deal, I haven’t had to get into them for advanced settings in a few months but it really annoys me that I can’t do initial configuration and advanced settings from Linux.
I’m trying to figure out what to do with my lab workstation. If I want to mess with the settings of my Reolink cameras windows seems to be the only stable option sadly. I’ve tried their android software and it’s garbage. The web interface is very limited after enabling it in the settings via their software. Wine has not worked well for me. It’s an isolated lan so it’s not a huge deal but I really wish there was a Linux build. I love the hardware and don’t want to replace the physical cameras. Just so stupid they won’t support a Linux client.
I’m glad you found my comment hilarious. I found the title hilarious, fortunately the article has a better one.
How is this an improvement over traditional construction. Seems like a giant waste of energy and money.
Thank you, I typically default to assuming I don’t understand or I’m confused when reading up things outside of my wheelhouse. I enjoyed reading up on the sharks you shared! I was trying to decide which one I would want to be if I could decide while laying in bed this morning. Felt silly but fuck it, I’m old, it’s nice to dream.
Why does the cow shark description say it’s unique in having six and sometimes seven gill slits compared to all other sharks having five. Then the frilled shark says it has six gill slits.
I guess my point is that I can’t picture something in that way. Picturing a green apple vs a red apple. I don’t actually visualize anything. I can think ok it’s a sour apple or sweet apple but I don’t have a visual to modify. The teapot I would just be thinking ok the teapot is upside down, theirs nothing I can visualize that would change. I have tried really hard, especially when I miss loved ones, I wish I could bring about images of them in my mind really badly.
I was really confused when you said picture an object then flip it. When people say picture something I always assumed that was a way to say think about the thing. I guess because I can think about things, obviously, but I can’t picture them. Their wouldn’t be a thing for me to flip if someone asked me to picture an object which left me wondering, wtf do you mean flip it.
I appreciate you sharing your interpretation and I agree. The sciences are even worse. If we hire a service we have my wife handle the first conversation while I stay in another room to ensure we don’t hire anyone that is openly misogynistic. I couldn’t even begin to count how many people we’ve turned away due to some variation of “can I talk to your husband”.
I do not disagree with you on any of your points and it’s why I said that it doesn’t bother me as much when done to support misrepresented groups.
Elon Musk isn’t a genius engineer that revolutionized anything. The brilliant minds at Tesla, women included did. The QB didn’t win the football game, the team did. The professor that has his or her name published and stuff named after him didn’t do all the work but it will usually be a white man unfortunately getting the credit which is garbage. Women and really anyone that isn’t a white male gets the short end of the stick.
I was saying that their are more honest ways of presenting these women’s accomplishments rather than saying the web wouldn’t exist.
I don’t mind as much when supporting equitable efforts but it always bugs me when anyone claims something wouldn’t exist without X like nobody else contributed and/or advancements wouldn’t have been made without a specific individual and I feel like their are more constructive ways to communicate the significant value of women without the absurd claim that the web wouldn’t exist without the specific contributions from a very small subset of individual women in a field with many brilliant minds.
My first born wouldn’t accept a pacifier over his thumb and we didn’t know well enough to press the issue. With insurance it cost $3500 that included getting him fitted with a device to stop the thumb sucking, once that behavior was kicked he was fitted with an expander, top one required manual adjustment every week or two depending on ortho assessment. We would go in every month or two to monitor progress along with the occasional trip because an expander broke. He is currently without expander and things have been great for a couple months but in June we go in to determine phase 2 way ahead after things have time to settle, braces likely.
My youngest is five years younger, he was the pacifier user, scheduling his initial evaluation is on my to do list before we go back in June so I can’t speak to a medical difference yet.
I could tell my oldest son had a narrowed elongated jaw structure without formal training though. I was glad we could get everything sorted from that perspective before his adult teeth started impacting anything. I still believe braces will be required to shift teeth around better now that theirs more room.
If you had a Dreamcast you could look it up
