Just like that, you have moved any books written about the Purge from fiction to non-fiction.

What if you shot someone during the purge, but they did not actually die until the next day.
I’m thinking this whole “no laws” concept would actually need hundreds of thousands of laws. Courts would be tied up for years after each purge just trying to answer the legal questions regarding having no law.
Let’s cover polygamy and tax fraud. If you marry multiple people during the purge … does that mean the marriages are all legal?
If you claim a $1,000,000 tax refund and mail it while the purge is going … is that legal?
Most people would have way more on their mind than just murder.
You know nothing [insert name here].
This is anti-dog propaganda being spread by cats.
Yep, those things were so rarely used … sure. You are forgetting that 99% of people knew nothing about computers when this stuff came out, but people made themselves learn. It’s like comparing Reddit and Twitter to a federated alternative.
Also, something like geocities could easily make a comeback if the damn corporations would stop throwing dozens of pop-ups, banners, and sidescrolls on everything.
Dinosaurs being dead … too soon for jokes about that. Too soon.
I forgot web rings! Also the crazy all centered Geocities websites people made. The internet was an amazing place before the major corporations figured it out.
Nope. That isn’t how it worked. You joined message boards that had lists of web links. There were still search engines, but they were pretty localized. Google was also amazing when their slogan was “don’t be evil” and they meant it.
Could you imagine a world where word of mouth became the norm again? Your friends would tell you about websites, and those sites would never show on search results because crawlers get stuck.
My mind did not register swan at first for some reason. I pictured a goose for some reason. I was confused and just thought that the guy should have just open hand popped it in the face and it would back down. Geese nest all the time in my area, so fighting off a goose is fairly normal … but then I registered “Swan”. Nope, you don’t want to mess with it.
Consider all MAGAts cultists. You cannot fathom how fucked in the head they are. You could point this out, any logical person would see how crazy expensive insulin and other medication in the US Healthcare system is … but MAGAts have no logic whatsoever. They will just say its “fake news” or liberal propaganda.
I am serious. You have to shut MAGA down. These bitches are crazy.
Luigi says: Just imagine one of the others is a Healthcare insurance CEO, you know what to do.
Yep. But he shouldn’t go to prison over being a twat.
I am defending no one and taking no side. I’m just pointing out that there are laws against denying the holocaust all across Europe.
These laws are harsh and will actually hit researchers that even try and dispute the number of victims … unless they are making the number larger. It is a fish tale. No doubt a fish was caught, but there is no way possible it was 11 million feet long.
My facts are straight. Questioning it is the same as denying it in most, if not all, of those 17 European countries where there are holocaust denial laws.
Professors and researchers get threatened when they suggest that it was actually Russians that did a lot of the killing. They get arrested when the point to the Pogroms that saw every religion being attacked.
It is what it is. 17 countries in Europe have “holocaust denial” laws … and that is suspect to a lot of people.
If it suddenly became illegal to openly state that aliens may exist … many would see this as a cover up and confirmation.
It’s not just Germany, it is17 countries. That’s most of Europe.
The laws don’t always say “it is illegal to deny the holocaust” … but you have to look at the way libel laws are used. Britain actually convicts on counts of libel for holocaust denial (see historian David Irving). They have laws on incitement to hatred and offensive communication that are used should one post a story that mentions holocaust denial (see Allison Chabloz).
My point still stands. Seeing all those countries with laws like this could make a reasonable person suspicious.

No, its not flawed. I know many people here in the US that are holocaust deniers based solely on the fact that it is illegal in most of Europe.
You honestly cannot do research to prove portions of the holocaust records could be wrong without risking imprisonment.
When you ban discussion related to a conspiracy or make it illegal to be a DENIER of said event … you are basically confirming the conspiracy as correct.
