Shouldn’t the mod only affect what you yourself see? So in principle if SquareEnix doesn’t host the mod content, it shouldn’t be their legality, right?

I never considered it, but you are perfectly right. Prometheus was the first pirate and anti copyright activist! That makes me like him even more.
Both from Germany:
I remember that in my high school time many in my year went to plasma donation as often as it was allowed to collect the compensation. So while you are right that is legally never called payment, people with a need for cash for sure sell their plasma for money.
Oh and in the public sector there is or at least was in the past also the possibility for donating blood and you get the 2 hours or so for that paid as normal. So the government donated the money for a good course.
They didn’t say that, but the other commenter still speaks about a point that also caught my eye:
It doesn’t matter if donating blood or plasma is able to be longer stored. When you need one of them, you can’t substitute with the other. So the medical area still needs both. So you still need people donating both. If a medical institution is telling me they only collect plasma, I would question their motives, because both are needed for helping people.
Maybe the donating place just gave the short explanation and they meant, that for blood donations there are other better places, but it could also mean, they don’t earn enough money with that. And THAT is I think what the other commenter meant with their admittedly short comment.
Evoland 2! Where the first game is mainly reference and no game, the second one is a completely original story and world which includes references. I highly recommend it.
The sales stopped because the developer took the app from the store and made it really really hard to get thereby. He did it because he didn’t want people to get addicted to phone games and contribute to that. So for him it was morals over money, literally! You can read about it on wikipedia
Yeah, that is the complete opposite of what the other comment said.
What they said:
You provided a good example of the first case, that even non practicing Jews celebrate some holidays, same as many book Christians are celebrating Christmas.
Thanks for sharing this video. While it is a bit long and has some duplication about some games in the introduction part and the specific game parts, it was nonetheless interesting to hear about this in depth talk about the romance genre.
I think the biggest problem romance in games will always have is the inherent contradiction between game mechanics and the realistic development of a relationship. It will be between the two extremes of being a pre written story or being a “relationship vending machine”. But maybe somebody will find a way to combine both in the future. I never would have guessed that I found it fascinating to play a autocratic countries border guard and then along come Papers, Please, so who knows.
I don’t really understand the downvotes, is it due to the length or directly proving the point of the video that too many people are scared of romance in games?
Oh for sure, I don’t blame the companies for doing it. I’m blaming the customers for being stupid enough to fall for it. Again. And again. And again.
But that is what we others are saying: there is no “more intuitive” system, just one you know better and can quicker evaluate how it would feel! So you agree with us.
Everything you said can be said about Celsius scale as well.
There is also a precedence for Celsius more than just an arbitrary number between 0 & 100.
A scale for liquid water, you know, the stuff that is the reason why we call our little spaceship "the blue marble"and why we even have this discussion, because it is the basis of all life on earth, is also not a bad choice for a number between 0-100.
And you made me curious: in what context did you have to calculate percentages of temperature that were not in Kelvin? Because as soon as percentages and temperatures are close to each other in one sentence the only example I can think of are things like reaction kinetic calculations and those are neither in Celsius nor in Fahrenheit.
If we want to go that road, intuition is according to Wikipedia:
Intuition is the ability to acquire knowledge, without recourse to conscious reasoning or needing an explanation.[2][3] Different fields use the word “intuition” in very different ways, including but not limited to: direct access to unconscious knowledge; unconscious cognition; gut feelings; inner sensing; inner insight to unconscious pattern-recognition; and the ability to understand something instinctively, without any need for conscious reasoning.[4][5] Intuitive knowledge tends to be approximate.[6]
Since every temperature system needs an explanation, namely the reference points, no system is or even can be intuitive per this definition.
What? Never been in a sauna? Do it, it’s really nice!
Which system did you grow up with? Because I grew up from the start with Celsius und it is 100% intuitive to me. Everytime you americans use your funny temperature numbers I have to stop and use a tool for transforming it or I simply ignore it and go “low means cold and high means hot, how high? Ain’t nobody got time for dat!”
So I disagree with your notion that Fahrenheit is intuitive. The system you grew up with and have multiple experiences as reference points for, is the system you feel is intuitive is also my opinion.
Kudos to you for staying friendly and on point through this whole comment chain, just reading it I felt my blood pressure rise.
The original Minecraft had the right idea in my eyes. Cheap in alpha, because there is less stuff. A bit more when it reached beta state and another increase when it reached full release state.
Because you played an inferior version with less content and supported the development, you got a discount. No idea why people would pay extra to be the beta tester though.
Nearly, some identifier who it’s from is also good. Without one? You can’t complain if I throw it away at the end of the week cleaning.
I wholeheartedly agree, the voices in this game are all awesome and fitting. I just didn’t mention that because you either read the texts or sit even longer hearing them. Both ways you need a certain patience to enjoy this game. (Which not everyone has and that is okay as well)
Both are among the greatest RPGs.
Planescape suffers from it’s zeitgeist and that it “needed” the fighting to be considered a RPG. I imagine it would surpass DE if they could have focused only on the story, the world and it’s inhabitants.
DE could only reach it’s high because PT existed first and showed what was possible and that the fighting only distracted.
If you haven’t played Disco Elysium yet, I highly recommend it. Since you like reading long texts, that part of the game will not bother you as it does some other players.
Correct and that was the supposed joke. Instead of chloride, the anion, which would occur in some form of a salt, the container would contain half NaCl and the other half just chlorine gas, Cl2. Thereby making the statement (50% less sodium) technically true. (Disregard the pressure you would need to put the same molar amount of gas into the volume of a solid)
The trailers till now already established a great atmosphere, let’s just hope they can also make a great game fitting to the visuals.
