most people have a completely flawed understanding of their own self-interest so this question doesn’t make a lot of sense imo

i have never understood why anyone would intentionally come to the US for tourism, especially from europe. all the good food, beautiful art and architecture, and historic artifacts are on your side of the atlantic already, why cross it?
