Before or after IPO?
Before or after IPO?
Right? Like they’re not exactly the “family friendly” company just because they have simple games with cartoonish art styles.
Wasn’t Leisure Suit Larry on GameCube? And there were a few zombie games for the Wii and Wii U.
I have a Santa Cruz. It’s my little half-truck and it’s badass.
I don’t vape nicotine or just for vaping’s sake, lol.
Those are the vape cartridges I’m talking about. Although I have heard of people distilling their own oil, so I’m sure it’s all who you know.
I like it a lot. I thought the anti-vax episode was fuckin hilarious.
Also, “you got cocaine legalized?!” “I told you, it’s 2019, dawg.”
Reusable cartridge? I didn’t know they made those, because no one talks about them ever. Except here, apparently.
I have a battery that I reuse all the time, if that’s what you’re talking about.
All good. I call those little all-in-one things “vapes” and just the cartridges “carts” so I can see where it gets confusing.
That said, I really wish there was a way to properly recycle those spent/empty cartridges.

Yeah even in the US GameStop sucks now. Like at least 10 years ago they were decent, but now it’s just trash.
AoE 2.
That’s it, that’s the post.
I feel bad when I throw away my empty carts. I wish there was a way to recycle them, maybe bring them to a dispensary that does so, or make a new thing for them at the recycle yard.
Edit: I didn’t know there were reusable ones. It’s not like they’re advertised everywhere. At least I’ve never seen any at any dispo I’ve gone to. 🤷♂️
Man, it’d be great if capitalists didn’t try to capitalize on everything and make everything single use so you have to buy more.
Also, technically all video games are just really long tech demos.
Well, their previous game Cloudpunk is available, and there’s a story DLC that’s apparently as long as the main game and adds so much to it.
I mean that’s literally what it was marketed as, so that’s what everyone expected going in.
Honestly I’d say Fallout 4 did a good job with their companions and relationships. It’s not super deep, mind you, but the more you travel with a certain character and do things they like, they’ll start to have feelings for you, and almost all will take it in stride if you politely decline.
Also, Curie best girl.
Damn I never finished Blood & Wine, but Hearts of Stone was fantastic imo
This is kind of what’s killing Star Wars right now though. We don’t need 50 different character threads placed throughout six different shows that run parallel/in sequence with each other.
It’s also what’s killing the MCU.
I enjoy games that go for retro graphics, because with today’s technology they can do so much more with less.
As far as suggestions: any boomer shooter (Selaco, Supplice, Incision), others people have already mentioned in this thread like Signalis and Dread Delusion, and more like Tenebris Somnia which mixes 8-bit pixel graphics with live-action cutscenes.
This is the true reality. We can all bitch and moan, stomp our feet and proclaim we’ll never buy another game published by whatever company.
There are still literally millions of people ready and more than willing to buy the brand new game from that company. People on Reddit, and especially Lemmy, are insignificant drops in a massive ocean of consumers.
I think the Battle for Middle-Earth games deserve remakes.
It’s been too long since we’ve had a good LOTR game, let alone one that was an RTS.
