I have been liking river lately after switching to it from hyprland. River is much more similar to my previous one which was xmonad.

I know this was targeted at the US but Ill answer from my perspective as an Aussie. Maccas used to be a good option for a cheap but by no means healthy meal. I dont eat there anymore because I no longer eat meat and the only things I would consider buying are exorbitantly priced. $1 AUD for a hash brown was a decent price, $2 is ok but not great. $3.60 for a single hash brown is simply outrageous even before you consider they are 2/3 the size they used to be. Even if I did eat meat, there are far better, more substantial options available for the same price

I’ve seen right wing liberals, left wing liberals, marxists, stalinists and anarchists just to name a few. If anything there is more diversity here than other platforms as it isn’t just various shades of liberal.

As a kid I’d have nightmares about falling off a cliff and definitely remember feeling it. I haven’t had a dream like that in a while though

I have never thought about it for smell and sound but I cannot see in my dreams and feel like my eyes are glued shut. Sometimes during a dream I will try really hard to open my eyes and it causes me to wake up. I have aphantasia so it is probably related. I think my dreams are mostly in concepts

Fuck the US hyper-centrism. If this place was so anti US, why are all the communities titled “News” and “Politics” exclusively for discussing seppo shit? This place is less US-centric than other platforms but is still extremely US focused. If you look for more than a second, you will find anti-russia, anti-china, anti-israel and anti-germany shit too (just to name a few). As someone who isn’t a European, most of these comments are yanks being loudly wrong about something and the saying “see the europeans weren’t ready to hear it” when someone points out how stupid the thing they said was.

I don’t understand what you are saying. Android is missing a bunch of stuff that linux users rely on for a full desktop experience. They have completely different use cases. Android isn’t designed with desktop in mind, Linux is. A lot of the linux apps I rely on aren’t on android and vice versa.
