When games had manuals… Now I’m sad :(
For context, plenty of facepunch forum users came over after they closed their forum.
You shouldn’t label all women that way. I’m sure you have fond thoughts about your own mother or grandmother. What you’re saying basically calls them horrible people which I’m sure isn’t true.
The issue in this case is that you have a man with a position of power potentially using that position to prey on women who are less able to reject his advances without potential consequences like losing their job.
Nothing like seeing all 3 of the same posts by you in my feed 🥰

Idk, same reason older generations liked TV so much. Keep in mind they had to air the “It’s X o’clock, do you know where your kids are” commercial because they literally were glued to the TV. So when an older person says some shit about video games, remind them of this.
+1 to steam sales being more worthwhile back then. I 1000% understand the ownership thing. I don’t think most people had to consider what digital purchases really could mean until Sony pulled purchased content out of people’s libraries.
I personally don’t think Steam is comparable to Sony apart from digital purchases. Steam or Valve aren’t beholden to large share holders because they aren’t publicly traded, I don’t think they’ll have the same objectives as Sony and prioritize their users instead of public shareholders.
I’d be happier if dedicated servers became the norm again for developers. Games wouldn’t disappear at the flick of a switch when servers are decommissioned.
How has steam experience been for you? I’ve been on steam for about 20 years and don’t recall they doing anything the likes of Sony doing to their customers.
Ah, fair enough, thank you.
I personally dont think we’re close to fox total domestication however. It seems like we’ve selective breed a human friendly temperament but there’s more to it than that for the sake of pet-ness that I’m sure people like to have. That is the main point in my OP. They love to mark, burrow into furniture and cause other problems. Those issues I think will be harder to alter than temperament. Probably not in my lifetime or most of ours in my opinion.
Can you send me a link to where you heard that?
I’ve heard but I dont think that’s really considered domestication yet, only partly.
We’ve adjusted their temperament, but there is more to it than that.
Sorry, meant pack hierarchy.
Fox’s aren’t going to be domesticated.
Foxes dont follow a hierarchical system like dogs, cats or horses where there is an Alpha (the owner of the animal) whom they fall under in the pecking order.
Foxes like to shit and piss all over everything and burrow Into couches. Good luck with the fox thing.
Let’s just say the tempered glass is rated for 1000lbs? Assuming the product description isn’t exaggerated.
I bought it when I was a big dude weighing around 334 before I lost about a 1/3rd of that.
I have carpet floors but are on a slight slant. Unless you have a bump I assume you should be okay.
Edit: here is what I bought in the larger size: https://a.co/d/gP83Nab
I have those on my chair and the glass chair mat, lol
buying a steel case gesture years ago was a great decision for me personally.
The chair is made to be sat in 8hrs a day nearly everyday. Office chairs at stores just aren’t built that way I find.
The way I see it… I spend the price for this chair now… Or spend the equivalent or more over the years on replacements as cheaper chairs deteriorate.
While we’re on the subject of chairs…stop buying those plastic chair mats. Buy tempered glass chair surfaces. They’re tougher than you think, buttery smooth and don’t flex and crack like the plastic ones.
Or maybe avoiding litigation? Weird that you think of advertising first, it’s like you don’t have critical thought.
So if someone buys them, are they pirating? Lol
The powerplay is a game changer. You made a great choice getting that thing.
Idk, imagine being called a child, boy, preteen, teenager, or young adult when you’re in your late 20s or older.
Hearing your friends say “the boys” or women hearing “the girls” is endearments between friends, not strangers.
